I had been there two years ago and I had loved it, so much that I decided to return with friends. This time I found it very bad, I don't advise anyone to stay there. The staff was insufficient and the only guy that would assign the rooms, deal with requests and complaints was busy and behaved weird. There was...

We arrived here just before our camel trek. We rode out into the Sahara, camped in a crazy sandstorm then arrived back at 07:30 for a buffet breakfast and to relax by the pool. Akmed was the owner and he was amazing, he took us on incredible tours in his 4x4, took us sand boarding and then we came back...

Palais des dunes is a hotel and also runs overnight camping in the desert. This review is of the desert experience. There are two types of camp - one is luxury, with flushing toilets inside your personal tent. The other is standard, with personal tents for your group and a shared toilet 5 metres from your tent. We had our...

We just stayed here over New Year. The positives -- dinner and breakfast were good and the evening live music was great. The location is directly across from where the camel tour begins. The positives pretty much end there. We were given a dirty room that had chewed gum (seriously) on top of the sink and used soap from prior...

I was really pleased with Palais des dunes! The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I booked directly through the hotel and drove to Merzouga with 4 others. We were a group of girls, and felt very comfortable. We stayed one night in the hotel, and then one night in the desert camp. They have a...

We did not stay the night here, but we used 1 room to store our luggage and relax in the evening prior to and the morning after our dromedary camel trek and overnight stay in Erg Chebbi dunes. This was arranged by another tour that I had booked from Marrakech. The place seemed exceptionally clean. Sheets, pillows everything looked clean....

I did not sleep here because we spent the night in the desert. The hostel (altough it looks like a regular hotel) is on the street in front of the desert dunes, right next door to a car museum. We left our luggage in a small apartment booked for the 4 of us: one large bedroom, a large living room...

We had a great time there. The first night we spent it camping in the desert, all organized by the hotel. The second night we stayed at the hotel, where we also had lunch and dinner. The rooms are very nice, roomy, with air condit, there is a swimming pool and a nice restaurant

We did a camel trek with this company. They have a new camp site that is not on their web site. It has only been open since June 2015. We are an older couple and liked the fact that this location had an bathroom in your tent. We also opted for a shorter camel ride. The owner took us in...

Beautiful place with very friendly people. The rooms are large and spacious. The courtyard has outdoor tables where rest and enjoy the tranquility of the desert. Views on the big dune. Spectacular sunsets where the landscape is dyed a red magic. The food delicious and varied. The staff is friendly and sympathetic. The prices are good. They offer tours camel...
