We had a very nice stay in the relaxed quiet hotel. It was ran by a wonderful friendly staff we fell in love with. The food is a highlight and so is the style of the place. We didn't want to leave as we had a very nice relaxing stay. Close to town but far enough that you are secluded.

We loved our little cavernous room with painted floors and ornate adornments. The food was excellent, especially the tangine and couscous. Breakfasts are basically a variety of breads, but the coffee and mint tea were divine. We arrived late in the day after a long journey and dinner was not going to be until 8 pm, so our wonderfully hostesses... More

30 min drive from Assilah, not so easy to find, GPS doesn't help much, 4x4 or at least higher chassis highly recommended. Don't be afraid of missing paved way... This Maison d'hôte is in the village, great way to discover rural Morocco, so different from all what you might have seen. Gate, parking, stylish patio / resto with piano, hammocks,... More

Access is tricky. If you email before the trip and ask for directions you stand half a chance, but I would strongly recommend either studying googleearth or phoning the guesthouse for live directions. If you travel in the next few weeks then when travelling south 7km from Asilah you turn left off the state highway no. 1, just after the... More

This is a stunning place to stay near assilah, you have to reserve the dinner in advance but has no price to be eating and seeing the sunburn with such a good meal, the place is very comfortable and nice too , Moroccan style everywhere, better if you call before go because is easy to get lost the first day.... Berbari is run by the dynamic Rachida and her lovely ,helpful and happy staff which makes the stay most enjoyable. Each room is different and quirky and the gardens are a super place to relax after sightseeing. The food is also very good. We will be returning.

Berbari is a real gem in the Northern Moroccan countryside. Not easy to get to, though. We were travelling by car, and unable to find it. We called Berbari, and Rachida (Berbari's terrific manager) sent someone to downtown Asilah to guide us to the hotel. It had been raining, so the dirt road to the hotel was not easy to... More

Probably one of the best places we stayed in, first they allowed my little two doggies that I cant travel without, second the food is simply exquisite, the location is amazing too, well its in the countryside, calm peaceful and the architecture stayed faithful to the Moroccan spirit. The lounge area was my favorite, with a cool fireplace and jazz... More

We spent our last night in Morocco at Maison d'hotes Berbari. Following a long drive from Oualidya to Asilah it was a welcome find, satellite navigation is a little erratic along the Atlantic Coast and having received excellent directions from our hostess at Berbari to head away from Assilah and take a left turn down a 2km dirt track we... “The only negative point is the poor accessability. Difficult to find, no sign at the N1 where you have to drive uphill. The unpaved road to get to the B&B is in a very poor condition. Almost impossible to drive after heavy rainfall (unless you drive a 4x4). Advice: call the B&B when you are on the N1 just south of Asilah. They come down and guide you to the B&B.”
