Where to start. In the eight months I’ve been travelling through Asia, I’ve never been treated like at Mohsin’s place. We arrived in Pulau Perhentian relatively late and didn’t book a hotel upfront. We checked almost two weeks before and nothing was available. A local told me to go to the island to check out accommodation there, which was a... More

Just comeback yesterday from Perhentian. Staying there for 3 days 1 night. Looking at the room, please do not have some kind of high expectation as it is just a basic room with bed, mattress and pillow. the only thing is that they really need to do something with the room. It is such a waste to not fix and... More

I stayed for one night in a place that had electricity from 7pm to 7am (12hrs) then moved to Mohsin Chalets (their power is on from 2:30PM to 10:30AM - 20hrs). Place is pricey when compared to Tioman Island but this is Perhentian kecil and in the Perhentian Islands, its reasonably price. The restaurants food is not only good and... More

This place is delapidated overpriced and grotty! Find somewhere else is my advice!!!! The rooms are very unloved, the bathrooms mouldy and scuzzy and it was overpriced for what it was. Want to pay 60 rm it's okay but for 170 rm - not good enough!!!

I just came back from 3 nights stay there and the experiance is generally enjoyable. We're a party of 8 adults and 4 childrens..the fan rooms are rm140 during weekday and rm165 during weekend which seems steep for what you get since there's no t.v or telephone in the room..in fact the furniture, bed and shower in the room are so worn... Its very cheap for non aircon is 140RM/night or 210RM/night. The staffs are very friendly, care and concern about my friends and I during our stay at moshin chalet. The chalet is more to a village lodging where you can see wild animals such as komodo lizard, snakes and geckos. The animals won't harm you unless you disturb it. So... More

One of the hot spot in Long Beach island, perhentian kecil. We took the room with fans bc we are on a tight budget. Full package for 3d2n for only RM390/pax. The price was okay. The room was okay. two single beds but we are 3 people so two of us need to share the bed. 3 meals a day... More

Rating this one was hard. We stayed in the dorm and the beds and the room was okey. The price was good and location is great. However, we stayed here in may which is more or less preseason on Perhentian. Even so, there was only one working toilet out of 4. One did not flush which made it stink really... More

We only went here to eat, but I cannot see Mohsin here as a restaurant only. Their food is good and reasonable in price, and you get a good attention. But the best is the view. From here you can see most of the island and you get a good breeze while eating your food on the floor. Great experience.

We stayed there for two nights because we couldn't find any other place to stay. It was mid September and weekend days and it was fully booked everywhere else. What to say about a room/chalet... Well, it was clean but very hot. It was fan room with no electricity 9am to 6pm. We payed it 140MYR/night which was too expensive... More
