Absolutely fantastic value for money, great view of the beach and nice rooms. Quiet at night but only a short walk to long beach and the bars. Found all of the staff to be very helpful and friendly. There was wifi and they played movies in the restaurant at night. Would 100% recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night after a stay at a rather quiet and peaceful beach. We wanted to experience different environment. The staffs were welcoming. Price was affordable. Food was delicious. The restaurant basically sells everything from traditional Malaysian foods to Western food. There are other resorts next to this so the place kind of crowded. However, the beach was...

Clean cabin on the beach. Not the height of luxury but it's not meant to be. Good free breakfast, wifi and helpful, friendly staff. Decent, reasonably priced food in the restaurant And the beach it's on is paradise - the sunsets in the evening are unbelievable. Would warmly recommend it.

We stayed on one of the beach huts AF-1, which are literally on the beach. There's different options for rooms but ours was fairly basic and the cheapest option. Fan only with a hot shower. The views are incredible from the huts and has a great homely feel. Staff are really great and friendly. We were planing to stay 3...

We absolutely loved our stay at Senja - booking one night and staying for eight. Our first night was spent in one of the more expensive rooms, before moving to one of the hotels cheaper huts on the beach. This was perfect for our backpacker budget and had everything we could need. Breakfast is also fantastic. Thank you senja!

We paid a fair amount to stay at Senja, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Our bathroom was basically a wet-room and everything was dripping. The shower was basically on top of the toilet so sitting on the toilet was always damp. The mirror was falling off the hinges, the toilet seat was peeling (you often got up and saw...

We arrived on the Perhentian Islands with no booked accommodation but other travellers advised us this would be okay if we took an early enough boat from Kuala Besut. Reception staff were welcoming and understanding that we had nowhere booked and showed us the bungalows available. At 190RM/night it was over many peoples' budget but we took the bungalow. The...
