Really enjoyed our stay there. Transfer to the resort is made easy and stress free. The rooms are basic but clean and the food is really good. There's a reef out the front which is good for a quick dip in the ocean. For the boat cruises we just walked around and asked a few guys how much it would...

Room on the beach... such a pleasure to sit watching sunrise and sunset on the verandah overlooking the sea. If you want relaxation and peace and quiet this is for you... If you need entertainment this is not for you. Fab food, fab staff, fab service, a true get away from it all, hope it never gets spoilt. The staff...

The hotel is not paradisiac, actually I really didnt like the venue at first - it's right in front of the small island and it's full of boats very near To the place we swim, but it seems like is one of the best places To stay. There are very nice places to do snorkling right in front of the...

No roads and no cars are to be found on this jungle-island so the only way to travel is by boat. This resort is situated on the coast and has its own beach with white sand and coral reef. Small taxiboats will get you quickly to the islands other scenic beaches. The resort is simple but has a great restaurant...

Excellent place to stay with exceptional communication. Had to alter booking due to the monsoon rains arriving earlier and the staff were considerate and accommodating. Was planning to organise own transfers which would have cost less i.e. Own taxi and boat to the island, however to save 10MYR wasn't worth the hassle or the wait. Tuna bay organised the entire transfer...

We enjoyed our week's stay in this resort with our teenage boys. We mainly came to dive and relax, and there actually is not much else to do. But the resort is set up very well, the rooms comfortable and clean, location right on the beach, the food in the restaurant varied and good, and the diving very interesting. However,...

Perhentian Islands are among the most scenic spots I have ever been to. The crystal clear waters are a world away from the turbid waters of Goan beaches. A must-see place for anyone traveling to Malaysia. The Tuna Bay resort where I stayed is located right on the beach (as are almost all other hotels on the islands). The rooms...

This was my 5th trip to Perhentian Besar over the last 15 years. The first couple of times we stayed elsewhere on the island but once we discovered Tuna Bay we just kept on coming back. This small and unpretentious resort ticks all of the boxes for us. Comfortable and clean rooms, decent food, good snorkeling right of the wonderful...

We are very glad that we stayed at Tuna Bay in the Perhentian Islands. The rooms are simple but a good size, clean and the air conditioner works well (which is good as it was hot!!)You can have your room cleaned daily if required. We stayed in a beach front room near the restaurant which was perfect, the restaurant closes...

A lovely place to stay with kids. Good foods, lovely staff and with a chalet with ocean view there is not much more to ask for. We had an connecting chalet with beach & garden view (4a&7a) A bit more pricy than their standard beach chalets but with little kids its nice to have a fridge and airco.
