Our tour van stopped here for lunch on our day trip around Sandakan. Simple, but good fare in a clean environment. service was adequate. Didnt stay at hotel but it seemed pleasant...nothing special, but this is East Borneo. Good wi-fi and pleasant staff.

The hotel is the second best in Sandakan. It is dated, but clean. Rooms are comfortable, we had a room with 2 single beds, old TV with a few channels, Bathrooms clean and toiletries are provided. Breakfast was included. It was a mix of Malay and continental. Some cereals, bread, jam, eggs, butter, coffee, tea and juices were available. Very...

The hotel was rather central to the harbour, shopping centres, super markets and other local amenities. The hotels standards are are acceptable, unlike other Malaysian Hotels, if you request additional toiletries or water, the team members are rather efficient and will send a member of staff to your room with the requested items! The breakfast was well worth the money...

We stayed here and it was fine, but we got a good deal. The room was generally clean, and you could see that in it's day the hotel was probably a big deal. Everything is just tired. The staff were helpful, and the service was good. The breakfast was pretty standard for Borneo. The location is good, close to the...

Located in the heart of sandakan- near shopping centers, banks, restaurants and other tourist attractions. Just a short walk away to get to other destinations around the grounds. If you intend to visit the other place far from the hotel taxis are available at reasonable prices. The rate of the rooms in this hotel is cheap, customer service is also...

Hotel situated next to a shopping complex and the Police Department. If you came with a car, parking would be an issue. The room is quite old, bed is squeaky, need to shove in a drink stirrer together with the door card to get electricity in my room, overall it needs to be refurbish totally. However, considering the price of...

The hotel is well located, close to centre. The building is a bit old but the room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is decent, lots of choices. Staff okay. Parking area a bit dodgey, tiny parking at the back of the hotel, and you have to leave your keys. Good deal with a last minute discount

This hotel had a good location as it was within walking distance to the waterfront, shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was spacious enough, but wasn't super clean. For example, there was a fingernail/toenail on the tv stand and another on the floor that had to belong to a prior guest. There were...

Hotel location was very central and close to the waterfront with it's local restaurants. Check in was pretty quick and easy and the staff were nice and informative. The corridors smelt weird and were very hot. We'd booked a Jr Suite with an extra bed which turned up 10 minutes after we had got in the room. This could've been...

Stayed 5 nights at hotel sandakan and had a comfortable stay. The staffs were also friendly and able to converse in English. They were helpful when we asked for directions around. This hotel is also pretty strategic as it in the town area which is also close to the famous attractions such as Agnes Keith and the English tea house....
