I used to stay either in this hotel or at another similar standard big hotel in downtown area when I visit Sandakan but to my dismay this year the standard of the hotel has gone down. First, is the breakfast buffet which now hardly got anything to eat, no more harsh brown, no more bacon, less fresh fruit, no more...

We spent 5 days in this wonderful hotel. We travelled with kids so needed a place where the little ones had a good time as well. The whole building is beautiful, the rooms are specious, clean and comfortable, but the greatest thing in the hotel is the pool. All of us enjoyed swimming and splashing in it, including our very...

This hotel really requires improvement. Firstly, the staff are not very friendly which is unusual for Borneo as all the people are so lovely! The restaurant isn't great either. I ordered a Nasi Lemak which was cold when it came to the table. I asked for the chicken to be reheated but they just brought back another piece of cold...

We stayed one night on the way to Selingan Island - location is a bit outside town, you can walk to town but would recommend taxi. Nice food in restaurant with ok prices...hotel have a nice pool area. Rooms a bit outdated.

We were offered an upgrade to stay in the hotel as part of a tour package. It was about $78 for 2 people for 2 nights so a no brainer, but did wonder what it would be like. Pleasant surprise. Room clean & comfortable, if a bit dated. We did not swim but the pool & surrounds were lovely. Dinner...

We were booked into this hotel as part of a tour we booked. The hotel was clean and comfortable enough. The hotel was very quiet and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The menu was very limited for vegetarians with the only options being pasta, which I found a little strange being in Malaysia. Obviously not the fault of...

This is a very affordable & comfortable hotel. The meals are great plenty of choices, they have both Asian & Western style. Spent 3 nights here couldn't fault it. All the staff are helpful & very friendly.

We were booked into the Sabah hotel as part of a tour. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised after having stayed in some other hotels that did not look as nice on first glance. We were really pleased and started looking forward to our stay. We had a nice evening after dinner in the cafe and went to bed ready...

Cozy room, comfortable bed and good room facilities. The location of the hotel adjacent to the forest made the stay unique. The swimming pool was great and food above average. Staff was helpful and friendly as well. Language was not a problem as the staff spoke good English. This hotel would suit a family with young children.

Sabah hotel looks like to be in the middle of the jungle. Nice, big rooms. Friendly staff. The big swimming pool seems to belong only to kids. Mums and dads did not go in the water. As an adult it felt as a shame to go in the water. Pity. The hotel restaurant is good.
