This lodge is kind of under the radar, but they run a great operation and at a great price. A 2day/1night package is RM180 and the 3day/2night package is RM250. You cannot beat these prices. The tour guide is fantastic; his sharp eyes spotted so many things, and he was very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff are great, too,...

I'm pretty confident that Sukau RB Lodge have the best guide & boatman of the other Sukau tour operators. There are many tour boats on the river simultaneously and on several occasions when the boats in fronof us just kept going forward, our guide stopped the boat and pointed out some animals that were near impossible to notice. That way...

This place is a pearl. I'm just talking about the place where you've real good contact with the locals and where you share a good time with them. We went there with a private taxi to do a river cruise in the Kinibatang area. This place offer the same tour that every other hotel. They charge you only 250RM for...

We had a really good time at the RB Lodge. We did the river cruise safari and the elephant tracking which was amazing! We saw so much wildlife and our guide pointed out so much and explained us everything. The accomandation is basic but really clean and it got everything you need. There is a nice terace/reataurant where you can...

Stayed here in December 2013 for 3 nights package (had to put December 2014, because there was no option for year 2013). We needed a cheap stay, because we were on a long travel. The private lodge was simple with bed, shower, toilet and closet. The room was ok for someone who only requires a clean room to sleep in...

Hmmm...first review in about 6 months. Probably because we visited during rainy season. We went here after someone recommened this place to be cheap, nice and new...Well, it was cheap! But I guess it was nice and new several years ago. The room was quite dirty when we entered. Pee-staines on the toilet, dirty pillows (like moisty), used pillowcases! When...

THE ACCOMADATION A great arrangement and cheap cheap cheap! The food was awesome, the guide very knowledgeable and quite funny, the staff friendly and very helpful, and the room were completely fine = fan, hot shower, toilet, beds (Better then what they could be for that price). Hard to put into words, the pictures say it all. THE EXPERIENCE River...

We stayed here for three nights while we explored the Kinabatangan river area. The room was relatively clean and comfortable. The toilet was pretty good (smelled a little bit but no too bad), and the shower was great. The food was really good and we got heaps of it. The staff were friendly, and seemed genuinely keen to engage with...

Nice and friendly staff, comfy 3-bed dorms, a nice view on the river, good prices for the wildlife activities, great food and the main building is the perfect chill out spot! Only negative aspect: the bathrooms have seen better days…

This is a difficult review. The place is run by a family whose owner Arbe is always welcoming and helpful. The guide Lewis consistently services the customers well by doing his best to spot for wildlife. The package offered is great value for money and is probably the best you'll get in Sukau. A brief update from previous reviews; the...

“Private Chalet closer to the forest then the road, not that the road was noisy at all more of a just in case!”

“If you arrive in Sukau without reservation and explore the different accomodations, you will end up her for the best price for cost/quality if you are only staying for 1/2 day(s). This way, it doesn't matter what airco room you choose because you won't be indoors most of the time (in 1 day&night we saw wild elephants up close, crocodiles, fireflies, and several bird and jumping monkeys:-)”
