If you go to Bilit, it's for one reason; to see the wildlife, so don't expect all the bells and whistles. What you get is a clean room, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. The food is adequate, but very bland, however, you're not here for five-star dining. The early morning and late afternoon river trips were just fabulous, and we...

Fantastic sightings on the river and in the rain forest at night. A trip highlight. The lodge was basic, with a Storm Stork on the railing to greet us as we arrived. Small group of us, so great to enjoy our rides on the river. The night walk was a highlight with our guide. Moon rat, 2 lesser-mouse deer, sleeping...

We arranged this kinabantagan river tour through the sepilok jungle resort which I do not recommend doing. The facilities are adequate however the food is the absolute worst I've ever had, and I've been in quite a few remote places in the world. The river guides were bad at spotting animals and spent too much time on monkeys that are...

This lodge was great for viewing wildlife. We got very lucky and saw Pygmy elephants grazing along the river during the first river cruise. The staff is very friendly but the food was average and actually disappointing after eating Malay food in Kuching and Kuala Lumpur.

Stayed for three nights. Accommodation basic though rooms had air con, fans and hot showers, you wouldn't have a need for anything else in the jungle. Loved it and could have stayed longer. Plenty of activity with river cruises and lots of animal sightings

This place is a taste of what the natural jungle was. We did a 3D2N trip and it was lovely. The room was basic but a bed is a bed and we did not pay to sit in our room and moan about no wifi and a mobile signal! Despite what some other reviewers have said, the people were really...

This lodge is very basic, stayed there for a 3D2N tour. Our room was in general clean. Meals at the lodge are good, it is a buffet and you get 2 meat dishes and 2 vegetable dishes, beverages can be ordered with an extra charge. The communication at the lodge is not good, often we had to ask about the...

The place is OK. The rooms are clean and everything works. However, none of the staff showed any interest in taking to us. And the staff didn't seem interested at all. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I know this is meant to be an "adventure" kind of places so I shouldn't...

All over Sabah we have always found staff and guides to be super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and Bilit Adventure Camp is no exception. However when you pay USD 150 per person per night you arrive with certain expectations. This is what they call their 1 night 2 day package. The foods is included but we found it very basic...

Stayed 2 nights here and it's definitely an experience. The river tours are good tho 2 where enough. The staff were generally great tho when we where moved due to a cabin fault no one mentioned we where being downgraded and where lied to when we challenged them. Worth going but I wouldnt again.
