If you are planning to dive Sipadan (and every diver should), this is the ONLY place to stay. Any real diver would not like the resorts on Mabul Island, which put you in an overpriced, cushy joint catered to the beach set within mere feet of the island residents who struggle to make ends meet, staffed by lesser-qualified dive crews....

The rig is comfortable enough and functions well as a dive centre. It's all very well organised. The rooms are getting a bit tatty but they're fine if all you want is somewhere to sleep, you're not really going to be spending much time there. The diving was incredible. I enjoyed the local Mabul dives, but the Sipadan trips were...

Just got back from 5 days 4 nights aboard the Seaventures rig having had a fantastic experience! Bridgett was the perfect instructor for my friend Ali who's attention span is renown for being less than perfect however having passed his open water course was able to then dive sipidan! Prior to this the dive sites off of mabul and kapalai...

I had my reservations about this place when I first booked it. Being a solo diver and all. Got to say that from the moment I arrived I knew that my assumption of this place was wrong. I have never felt more welcomed. The dive masters and rig crew there are so friendly that you will never feel left out...

We did spend 5 days on the Rig, and I was expecting a lot and you did met my expectations ! This place is everything about Diving, diving and diving ! The best dive was for sure : SIPADAN. Even if during your holidays you have to wake up a bit early , that really worth it.

Seaventures really is a unique experience, my friend and I had no idea what we were in for when we booked but as soon as we arrived we were mind blown, this transformed oil rig is the perfect place to get away from all of life's stresses! With the sun deck out front you can be sure catch the stunning...

I have dived with Seaventures a couple times. The crew on the rig are top-notch. Very fun and professional. Booking office in KK, however, is less impressive. Lone travelers beware single supplement transport fees. On Mabul Island is a tragic, squalid village in need of some basics-hygiene, food, education, and medicine. Very disturbing that the plight of the people in...

Our 3rd visit to the Seaventures dive platform and whilst nervous given the previous attacks in the area this proved to be unfounded given the increased presence of police and army both on the platform and in the immediate area. We were reassured that the Malaysian government are taking the security of visitors to the area very seriously. The diving...

About room We were staying on the 3rd deck. The room is quiet and AC works well. Wifi is not too stable but ok, usually night time the signal is better. The double bed room is cozy. But if you are expecting a fancy one, fig might not be your best choice. About food & drinks The food made by...
