Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp is a private camp situated in the magical desert landscape within the Wadi Rum protected area. We provide a big tent in traditional Bedouin style for eating & sitting near the fireplace, toilets & shower facilities (Hot water available) - and as a highlight for couples we offer small private Bedouin tents with beds, blankets and pillows which guarantee the most privacy & comfort. Families are also welcome and we have family style tents as well. For an unforgettable desert experience, our camp faces the sunset where you can watch the sun setting from the rocky outcropping that over looks our camp! The owner, Mohammed Hamad, and his family will be glad to welcome you and share with you local culture and traditions.

An unforgettable experience. The rooms are amazing and have a great view out to the surrounding desert. They cooked us a fantastic meal and were very welcoming. Highly recommend a stay here! I’d also suggest booking the jeep tour too, wondering around the local sites was a lot of fun.

The Bedouin are hospitable people, and they made our stay in Wadi Rum very enjoyable. The food is authentic, be sure to try some Bedouin coffee made with cardamon, the taste is memorable. The Bedouin have lived here for centuries, they feature in Lawrence of Arabia's famous book "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom."

Amazing hospitality, fresh food, and a comfortable and clean ‘tent’ with bathroom. Ahmad gave us a lesson on the stars and watching the light change on the surrounding hills was absolutely beautiful.

We stayed at the camp for one night opting for a deluxe king tent. We had a wonderful time and it is very well organised. Our driver phoned the camp to let them know of our arrival at the rest house. We met with Mohammed who was very informative and hands on. From 2pm we went on a half day tour with his brother Ali. This was a fun experience driving through the protected area. Ali assisted with helping a member of the group getting off the trunk at each stop, which was very considerate of him. Afterwards we arrived at the camp for sunset, watched the sky turn yellow, pink and purple from our room was magical. The room has a large comfy bed, large shower, lighting, air con/heating and floor to ceiling windows of the beautiful Wadi Rum desert. We were by far positioned in the best position for viewing the sunset as many tours came past to also see. Before dinner we sat round the campfire having tea and looking at the stars. Dinner was a wide spread and we got to see how it was made. Afterwards we rented Shisha (7 JOD) and sat by the campfire. The next morning we watched as Mohammed fed the camels next to us before going back to the rest house to meet our driver. There are bubble rooms but we decided we wanted to have more of bedouin experience (plus the luxury). The experience we got here was fantastic and considered of a beautiful camp with small numbers (20 people). It felt very personal and intimate.

The location was superb, the food the best we had in Jordan, the starry sky was amazing, the owner very friendly and helpful. The tent was spacious with good warm water showers. They only have a few tents/domes so it is not crowded at all. It is not cheap, but worth every penny.

I had planned to Visit Wadi Rum only for an hour but the beauty of the place and the hospitality of the local people made me stay there overnight and i enjoyed every bit of it. It was a wonderful experience in Wadi Rum; early morning sunrise, red sand and some few other spots. I couldnt go around much due to less time in hand and wanted to catch my flight. If you are planning to stay in Wadi run; from tent booking, food, and jeep tour, here's your person Mr. Rajaa Abdullah. Very kind, helpful and punctual. Planning a trip to Wadi Rum ? Contact him on watsapp and he will arrange everything +962775055173

Wadi rum is surely one of the unique places i have visited in my life. Right from the visitor centre, the topography is just out of this world. After the visitor centre, you need to drive for 6 kms to reach wadi rum village where there is a big parking lot. We were wondering how would we find our camp as it was in the middle of the desert and apart from our expected time of arrival, we did not have any further contact with the property. To our surprise, when we reached the parking lot, the first person we met was Hassan from our camp. It was quite remarkable given that there are hundreds of such camps in wadi rum and it can be a process to find the concerned person who would pick you up from the parking lot. I advise everyone to have advance contact with the camp to ensure you do not need to wait at the parking lot. In case you need to wait, the parking lot has quite a few shops nearby. Once Hassan picked us up, we entered a different world. From the parking lot, the camp is about 15 minutes drive and that itself is a great introduction to wadi rum. We checked into the camp and had lunch. Lunch was offered at 10 JD person. It was 10 JD per person. After lunch we went on a desert safari with Hassan's brother. We were taken to 5-6 sites and the safari lasted for about 3.5 hours. Most of the sites had little bit of trekking/walking involved and those with mobility issues may prefer to be in the jeep only. The experience of travelling through the desert would itself be a lifetime memory, never mind the actual sites. We finally saw sunset from our last site which was again a remarkable experience. As regards the camp, the room which we chose was very nice, clean and kept in a tidy condition. Though they have martian tents, the same does not give you any better vibes than the normal tents. The normal tents have a porch infront of them where you can sit and look at the vast desert in front of you. I can assure you it would be truly an awe inspiring experience. The dinner was again a buffet affair, which was provided at the costs of 15 JD per person. We went on a full moon night, which kind of impeded the true star gazing opportunity but the full moon reflecting on the vast desert landscape had its own beauty. Overall, its a must do in Jordan and the wadi rum bedouin camp is highly recommended for their hospitality, professionalism.

This the most amazing and breathtaking place on earth. Deluxe tents, with a porch to watch the fabulous view of the Wadi Rum desert. The tents are luxurious equipped with fine beds, airco, hot shower (in the desert!), electricity and toilets. Breakfast and diner are excellent. Diner is prepared in Bedouin style under the ground, how fun is that. The Jeep safari gives you a fabulous view of the desert. I’ve seen many places but not as breathtaking as the Wadi rum desert. And owner Mohammed and his brother really mingles in with his guests to tell the local Bedouin stories and makes you feel at home.

Wake up in a wonderful surroundings with red rocks and desert greeting you just from outside the window. Great Bedouin hospitality, they arranged camels and jeep rides for us. Mr. Mohammed, the manager, treats you more like a friend than a guest. The camp is super clean, new and rooms look like a five star hotel. Don't miss it!
