Travellers' Choice
Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp is a private camp situated in the magical desert landscape within the Wadi Rum protected area. We provide a big tent in traditional Bedouin style for eating & sitting near the fireplace, toilets & shower facilities (Hot water available) - and as a highlight for couples we offer small private Bedouin tents with beds, blankets and pillows which guarantee the most privacy & comfort. Families are also welcome and we have family style tents as well. For an unforgettable desert experience, our camp faces the sunset where you can watch the sun setting from the rocky outcropping that over looks our camp! The owner, Mohammed Hamad, and his family will be glad to welcome you and share with you local culture and traditions.

Mohammed and his family made sure we had a superb experience in his camp. The location is stunning, tents are very luxurious with large beds and a very nice private bathroom. Dinner and breakfast in the communal area around the fireplace was great. Really tasty food and relaxed atmosphere. We were quite late in booking some tours but it was no problem at all, we did a jeeptour and camel ride. Best experience in Jordan, I would definitely recommend. Our kids (8 and 10 years) enjoyed it a lot as well.

Decent camp with average service. This camp is large and provides the added luxury of electrification. The food is very good. It was relatively quiet when we went and we felt that our presence was more of an annoyance to the owner, who was unpleasant. Some of the younger brothers are delightful but the mix of construction and lack of overall welcoming feeling would make me not recommend it when there are a growing number of options.

Accomodations to fit your budget from very luxurious to basic. The camp is new, clean and well decorated. Location is convenient with perfect place to watch sunset & star gaze. Staff is welcoming, speaks English and very professional.. We have stayed many times at this camp & we recommend it without hesitation.

Don't look for another camp, because: - First of all you will feel at home. Muhammad & his family are very hospitable! - you will have the best view! - beds are spacious and very comfortable - bathroom is very nice & clean and well equipped - Nice balcony in front of your tent - food is amazing & fresh. They prepare it under the sand in a traditional way -jeep tour is very good - it is (unlike many other camps) inside the protected area of Wadi rum - AC works good! - contact with Muhammad via WhatsApp was very efficient.
