Considering that this hotel, really a lodge, is in the middle of the desert it is amazing that it is as clean and dust-free as it is. The rooms are basic, yet comfortable enough for a night. There is not enough light but, again, remember you're in the desert. The bathroom was basic but comfortable enough to have a hot...

Bait Ali is phenomenal. It was a great place to stay as a base camp for a three day adventure into Wadi Rum. Offering various levels of accommodations ranging from Tents (unheated) to Chalets (great heat and private hot water bathrooms) it was the perfect hotel. Traveling in early January, we chose the heated chalet which was perfect as the...

During our two day tour in Jordan we stayed at the Bait Ali. It is Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum which affords you some modern touches as in lodging and yes even WIFI. The camp offers several types of accommodations. The tour included a tent style room but that night it was extremely cold, so we chose to upgrade. The...

Yes, fast WiFi at the Bedouin camp! Granted, this is a 'luxury' version of Bedouin camping, I'm sure. This was chosen by our tour operator so we had no idea what we were in for. All we knew was that we were staying at a Bedouin camp, so many of us thought we were going to be roughing it that...

A small sign and a dirt road between two imposing sandstone plateaus led to our home for the next three nights, Bait Ali Lodge. The expansive resort was flanked on one side by steep escarpments of sculptured sandstone hills; the other sides merged into the endless desert sands and mountains. Even the kids in our caravan were silent as got...

My return trip here after a long time away was not how I remembered it but now bigger and better. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, food cooked fresh and and a good choice at breakfast. Suzi the owner and Abou Ali the manger are on hand and anything you want or need it sorted straight away. Our accommodation...

I was visiting Wadi Rum with some local friends last year and we stayed at Bait ALI for one night. They offer different activities, but beyond the whole commercial offer the best you can enjoy is the midnight view from the hill just next to the camp... amazing!

Our tour was prepaid and we probably could have upgraded ourselves to air conditioned accommodations, but our non-air conditioned chalet was very, very hot and not very clean. Shower and toilet was OK, but the shower was clogged twin beds had only one pillow and the blankets were dirty with unidentifiable stains. The room didn't cool down and become habitable...
