Had breakfast in the courtyard everyday during my stay. A great place to meet people, the locals and travelers. Enjoyed the burning fire and the chattering of the guests over dinners. The different layers of the architecture gives you the real sense of the ingenuity of Yazd's houses for the desert climate. Easy access to main streets, great location with...

Silk road hotel was a nice place to stay. My room was lovely, the location is great, and the breakfast was excellent. I was travelling alone and it was a great place to meet other travellers over breakfast and organise sightseeing together.

The location of Silk Road Hotel is really good. It's very near Jameh Mosque and old city area. Their service is the best. Ali, the owner, helped us a lot. We stayed here 2 nights and had a great experience in Yazd. Also, you can book a day tour to Chak Chak, Kharanaq and Meybod with the hotel ($15/pax).

This hidden gem in Yazd is the ideal place to stay in Yazd. My room was small but it had everything I needed including a kitchenette and aircon. it is close to the Jahmeh Mosques and it is inside the old town with mudbrick streets and badgirs. This is what I expected from Yazd.

The lunch time buffet caters mainly for safe tourist looking for all-in-one experience. But it's unspectacular - there's Camel meat but it's not high on my list, and the usual standard fare. There's better restaurant all around. Not saying it's bad.. just that one need to be more adventurous and get out from your comfort zone.

1. The morning breakfast is amazing, lots of variable and delicious. 2. The range of dinner and lunch food is deliciously made and huge range of tea selection to chose from; reasonable price. 3. From outside, it looks like a normal hotel, but the interior design of the hostel is amazingly comfortable with traditional iran designed and atmosphere. Great place...
