You find yourself at 06.00 standing with your luggage in front of this hotel, the nightbus was way earlier in Tabriz than we expected. it was still dark outside. You have no reservation for this hotel and you feel a bit ashamed to wake the nightporter. But this hotel opened the door for us because they heard us talk outside,...

The room was an ok size. It was clean. Bathroom ok with European toilet. Breakfast was the poorest we had in Iran. Bread, butter, jam, tea & coffee. Nothing else. I wanted some milk with my coffee and they said that they didn't have any! I ask them to get me some and I had to pay for it. No...

It was a great opportunity to stay one night at a 100 years old hotel in Tabriz. everything was good enough for us except the breakfast. clean rooms, helpful management and staff, free WIF and good location helped us to enjoy more.

Stayed here two nights. Room was comfortable and clean. Centrally located and within walking distance to many attractions. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Some spoke a little bit of English but not really enough to help with even the basics. Wi-Fi was free but a bit hit and miss but this was common everywhere we went in...

This is a very basic hotel offering you simple and tired rooms with a weird aircodintioning system and a simple bathroom, not speaking of the bedding which is typical for the Iranian mid-range hotels/hostels (we had to use our own sheets). Even on Iranian standards, for $30 plus they should be giving more. Breakfast is basic, too. Staff is helpful...

Nice and spacious rooms, western toilets, wifi (only in the corridor and lounge), breakfast included, nicely located. Staff is helpful and speaks some English. They can also help and book tours for you.

This hotel have basic accommodations, clean bathroom and a plain (and bored) breakfast. It’s not THAT well located, but within a short walk you can reach the Grand Bazaar. Friendly staff, although don’t expect for precise information, because most of them don’t speak a word in English. But at least, they will try to help you in their manners.

Hotel Morvarid is a simple hotel with simple rooms and simple facilities. It is oke for one or two nights, but when you want some luxury, you will not find it here. One receptionist spoke some English, but the other ones didn't. Breakfast was ok.

When traveling on budget in Tabriz, you actually have 3 options: first is a ~10 usd room (double room) in a pretty much run-down guesthouses. Such room would be very basic, often dirty and small, resembling more a lazaretto then a real guesthouse. Bathroom/toilet would be shared, no English will be spoken and don't even bother to ask for WiFi...

“As far as I remember, the best room we got when we stayed there the first night was 218. Spacious.”
  • I think this was room no. 218. The one we got next time was worse than this.
