It's a tiny family hotel with good rooms and good breakfast/dinner. It's perfect for backpackers, who wanna make new friends and enjoy travelling! We stayed here 2 more nights and we didn't wanna leave.

This is a good budget option, which is pretty much the first hostel off the boat. We stayed in a double room with a mosquito net and a shared bathroom with hot shower for 100 rps per night (low season price). This was a comfortable sized room but was quite close to the kitchen and communal area - that said,...

The deluxe room was very pleasant, clean with a hot shower and a nice balcony. There was a nice common area at the restaurant, the chapati was yummy and the place has some nice chairs directly at the water.

We stayed at Bagus for 5 nights in a twin room which is clean, spacious, light and airy with a good bathroom (there are lots of varieties of rooms so check a few before choosing!) . The homestay is right on the lake which is a perfect spot for swimming and taking in the nice scenery. There are plenty of...

We booked this hotel last minute just before we visited Tuk-tuk. And it turns out to be a truly memorable stay! Especially the food! We're vegetarians and they served really great variety of food which tastes really good! Beds are okay. If you're going to be out a lot, it's not gonna be a big problem. Besides, you could always...

before I might forget it, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your kind and hostile service. I did appreciate every moment in your beautiful garden and highly liked all your food and beverages. Even though I could only talk to Erick I felt a great understanding and top teamwork at your lovely home. May all be stay healthy...

We came here due to meeting Eric, one of the staff members, on the parapat ferry and it was the best decision we have made! I honestly think this is the best value homestay ever! Our room was cheap 75,000 but it was clean, secure and comfortable not to mention you get a hot shower and western toilet. The property...

The best thing about this hotel is its lakeside location. It is also good value for money considering its location. The hotel consists of several independent cottages set amidst a garden and connected by pathways. The hotel has a restaurant and extensive gardens and a lotus pond. There is no pool but you can always go for a swim in...

Was here with my traveling gang from 16-Oct-2014 to 18-Oct-2014 (3D2N). Ignore the TripAdvisor's travel date because you can only choose this year's date. There were 5 of us. We stayed at the "Traditional Batak House" (this is the type of the rooms available), which back then was IDR 300k per night. We even booked the transfer from the airport...

We stayed here for 4 nights and we had a nice time. The rooms are ok for the price but not the cleanest. The atmosphere is very relaxed especially in the cosy restaurant. The staff is also too relaxed and not really motivated but at least they "try" to be friendly. The food is definitely the best thing Bagus Bay...
