We stayed here for one night on a G-Adventures tour. The hotel has stunning views of Mount Batur and the lake from both the rooms and the restaurant, however this is where the positives end based on our experience. Our room was tired, shabby and poorly maintained and then bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom looked like something from a prison...

No need to hike the volcano, you have almost as good view of the lake from the hotel and restaurant. The rooms were simple, with lots of stairs and a steep hill to get to the restaurant, but what a spectacular view from both the room and the restaurant. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good. Wifi is...

If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights this is fine, but I wouldn't spend any length of time here. The toilet leaked and flooded the floor in the night, the wet room isn't great at draining the water, it isn't very secure in that it doesn't have a safe or deposit box and...

As most reviewers have said - you can't be the view to the lake and volcano. It's a great location to stay if you're planning to hike Mt. Batur, since it's only about 20 mins from the starting point. I spent only 1 night here- the night before trekking the volcano. The overall look and feel of the hotel is...

Hotel was chosen by Atalante of France, our tour operator. A short night as we woke up at 3 am for climbing up the Mr Batur. Once the Lakeview was probably a good hotel but it's now dirty with very passable service. Not sure where the title of ecolodge came from to be honest....Compared to other hotels in Bali this...

Based on the reviews, was a little nervous (came here with a group, so I did not personally pick this), but it actually was pretty good! Nice long hot shower, awesome views, quiet and had a sound sleep. Granted there were some quirks - such as the open window/door shutter thing that looks into the toilet - lol. I stayed...

We visitet Lake Batur by scooter and wanted to take a snack and coffee. So we found this little place and ordered some. But the overview was simply crazy good! We took some amazing pictures and it was simply very, very enjoyable. Again, the view all over the lake and the two Vulcanos was simply stunning! Snacks and Coffee were...

Unfortunately, my room looked nothing like some of the professional photos or other pics shared by travellers, so perhaps I just drew the short straw. The rooms were big but the bed linen didn't look too clean - there were some questionable stains. The bathroom was a wet room with lots of pebbles - while this might look like a...
