This hotel is getting a bit old now but the room was big, freshly painted and clean white bed sheets. Clean large white towels too. Soft pillows and a soft thin duvet. Mattress was a bit springy but we slept really well here. Big shower room, didn't notice any mould like previous reviews. Fridge is in working order and clean....

Dirty, musty, moldy walls, grossest bathroom ever. There's a pool turned swamp that looks like something from a horror movie. No upkeep whatsoever. Just bad, really bad. Definitely worth paying a bit more to stay elsewhere!

The first time ever in my life I had stayed in such a horrible hotel like this. The room for 2 is so small and dirty. Mattress, pillows, blankets are awful. Bathroom and toilet are awful too. I have rarely written negative feedback but I really could not stand for this hotel. I had booked for 2 nights but I...

We had a very unpleasant stay at the Hai Au Hotel. The room was old, not very clean and smelled strongly of mold. Very low standard for the price we paid, especially since the location wasn't even that good. Close to the sea, but to get to the beach where you can actually swim, you had to walk for about...

I reserved this hotel for my holiday at the 1st of Sep dues to the location is in front of the harbour. However, when I first steped inside the hotel, the front door supprised me with its messy, then, I entered into the room, I actually cannot stay with it for just a while, its heat makes me angry, and...

Theres nothing special about this hotel. Staff are rude - its as if you're interrupting there special private lives by asking a question. The price is a little steep for this joint, just an average room. No other services. If you're on a budget definately stay here, just take extra precautions if you know what I mean. Good enough for...

The best thing going for this hotel is it's very convenient location across the road from the hydrofoil terminal. I'm sure it was a good hotel in its day but is now quite run down and neglected. The 'down' lift call button on the 4th floor doesn't work. The pool is out of order. The TV remote was held together...

HOT TIP - Don't book through Agoda or other on-line booking sites or you will pay too much. Agoda "discount price" was $38 for a single bed room, while price booking direct is 300,000 dong ($14). Stayed here 4 nights. Ideal location, just walk across the road from the boat terminal, and walking distance to front beach and restaurants. Air-conditioned...

We stayed in Hotel Hai Au (124 Ha Long St., Vung Tau), just opposite Vung Tau Hydrofoil Jetty. Very convenient to find & reach if you come to VT from HCMC by Hydrofoil. This Hotel is awarded (**) by VN Govt. It seemed to us that they had all sort of facilities, once upon a time. But now they run...
