The best hotel I have been to in Vietnam.
The place is beautiful with an exotic garden and dark stone pool. The staff was excellent and helped us with everything.
The room had panoramic views from two walls to the green rice fields and it was a joy to wake up to that vision.
I think the food is the best I have eaten in Vietnam. The cook was very good and he balanced very well the sauce that they put on everything that tastes like fish to salt things so that it was not noticeable, something that almost all places do not do.
The rooms are spacious and the bathroom with a black stone bathtub is very beautiful😍. And very good attention... I highly recommend it!!!

We stayed at Coco Island for 2 nights with our family of six. The brand new hotel is very well located away from the road between Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, which are both easy to reach by taxi (about 2€ per fare) or with the free bikes of the hotel. The hotel design is beautiful, with a gorgeous swimming pool where you can swim in the shadow of tall coconut trees, and only 20 rooms divided among 10 tiny houses hidden behind the beautiful plants and trees. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms beautiful. Best ones are those on the first floor with very high wooden ceilings. Very good massages available on site.

A hotel offers honest price – what you are offered at Booking.com you will get the price in VND.
A truly peaceful resort on a budget with delicious breakfast which will introduce you to Vietnamese culture and cuisine. The hotel has exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, easily accessibly by Grab.
The famous boat tours are just 40 minute away by walking but you can also rent a bi-cycle from the hotel.
The rooms have great views, big windows to the floor and amazing, yet secluded location.

Where do I begin. Let’s start with the location. To access the villa you have to cross an extremely awkward bridge to get to the main entrance. With two suitcases and other luggage it was very difficult. Hotel staff are too laid back. They do not help with your luggage over the bridge or when you get close to the entrance so please do not book this villa if you have mobility issues.
The staff are NOT attentive at all. Very laid back and chilled. I had ordered a glass of wine and it took 20 mins to come to the pool area. The wine glass I was served was also very dirty.
Breakfast was average. The only nice part was the room we were staying in as it was spacious. No privacy though, people walking past can see everything if you do not close the curtains which is annoying if you are someone who likes to let in natural light.
Overall I wouldn’t book this place again.

The experience couldn't have been worse for a 4-star hotel. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I did not receive the welcoming attitude I deserved.
- First isssue: I was reminded about my two children laughing together, and the hotel manager said that their customers were mostly foreigners who came here to relax. I agreed and reminded my children to play and talk gently. However, it was surprising that the guests right behind us, who were all adults, were laughing loudly, yet no one reminded them.
- Second issue: The next morning, during breakfast, my child was mistakenly identified as another "blue shirt" child. The manager warned my child and me in a crowded restaurant not to let my child put their hands into the food because their foreign guests were reportedly shocked by this behavior. I confirmed that my child was the only one holding the plate and that I was the one taking the food, using tongs. The direct service staff also confirmed that the "blue shirt" child was someone else, not my child. But why was there no apology to us?
Is it true that the hotel's customer base is aimed at foreigners, so Vietnamese customers like our family are not important and do not deserve respect? I am okay with receiving feedback, but the management's attitude towards my family was NOT GOODWILL and DID NOT RESPECT customers.

Everything was exceptional. The setting and landscaping are gorgeous, they’ve taken huge care to create a beautiful and relaxing environment. The pool area provides a beautiful space to unwind and watch the stunning sunset (see photo!).
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They arranged scooters and taxis for us and nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms was huge with a giant comfy bed, balconies on both sides of the building and the most incredible bathroom. The as are such a unique accommodation.
We were very sad to leave

Very Nice stay at the border of Ninh Binh. You can use their bikes and explore most of the to see areas. Pool area is fantastic. Lovely cocktails, Nice massages as well. Hosts at the reception will help you with everything they can. We did laundry as well and very happy about this (kg instead of pieces). Will recommend!

Amazing hotel, we stayed for 3 days, 2 nights - the staff were so attentive and helped us learn some Vietnamese, call taxis and give recommendations for restaurants/ activities. It is so beautiful. We didn’t need our room cleaned but we still had a basket of new towels and toiletries. Shout out to Hannah and Xu who made our stay so lovely! ☺️ Love Ella, Amy and Olivia

Stay was great. Rooms were impeccable with air conditioning, fan and a mini fridge. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, especially the boss. Staff always tried their best with us, everytime. They offer tours to explore Ninh Bình, which are really fun and engaging.
They do play music across the hotel, by the pool area and the lobby, which does get a bit annoying, it’s loud and they play the same playlist which consists of a few songs.
The food is very nice, served swiftly and with plenty of smiles. The menu could definitely be optimised though, it’s a little hard to read.
Would definitely stay again, thank you so much.

I had a series of very valuable vacations at Coco island... the staff and host were extremely hospitable. They make customers feel at home. Fresh and delicious food. Breakfast is super diverse and delicious. The drinks are meticulously prepared to be eye-catching but also rich. Lovely . Thank you coco
