Detailed Reviews
Great stay close to Tam Coc center, with very comfy beds and clean rooms. We enjoyed the free jacuzzi and saunas (both wet and dry) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. You can get free bikes or rent a scooter for 120.000 dong per day. The breakfast is varied, pho, omelettes, western and lots of fruits. Most importantly they let us check in very early at 4:30 am since we came with a night bus for Phong Nha, for a small fee including breakfast which we really needed. Fully recommend to stay here if you want some quiet and relaxation, while still being close to the main attractions.

Our stay at Lalita Boutique Hotel Ninh Binh has been wonderful. We arranged for a private car pick up at Hanoi airport (at 3am) with them. Driver was on time and courteous.
The lobby and the room were well designed with european and tropical design that blends well and reflects the vietnamese culture.
The breakfast buffet was really good. They do not have the biggest spread but most of the dishes are of good quality.
We also rented motorbike directly from them at it wasn't too expensive. The receptionist spoke decent english and gave us tips on how and where to tour Ninh Binh given our schedule here. All staff are courteous.
All in all our experience here is very pleasant.

This was our best stay so far in Vietnam, so worth the price.
It is fresh, clean, new and the service is amazing. They were always smiling and welcoming, helping us with taxi and to plan our day.
After we checked out we came back later that day and asked if it was possible to take shower, without any hesitance they got a room for us which we could borrow to take a shower - for free!
11/10!
Big thanks and kudos to Pham Thanh Phu’o’ng, you made our stay amazing!

We checked in with the friendly member of front desk staff, who showed us quickly to our room. She came back a few minutes later with a lovely plate of cake and fresh fruit. However, in that time I had noticed a very large amount of black hair in the bathroom area (we are talking at least 30-40 long hairs). She apologized profusely and moved us to an identical room one floor up. At least in that room there wasn't a full shedding of hair on the floor but to say it was spotlessly clean would be a lie.
There was clear evidence that the room, and the hotel had not received a proper cleaning in a long time. For example, there were two full-size greasy handprints on the lift doors when we arrived that were still there when we checked out of the hotel the next morning. This is inexcusable in the current climate, where hotels are fighting hard for business and the cleanliness of the hotel is important. This hotel claims to be four star. It is not. The rooms look very nice upon a first glance but it is a case of style over substance. The toilet door is partly frosted glass so you can wave and smile at your roommate as you complete your daily ablutions and they can see your head, shoulders and legs clearly, with the bit in the middle only a bit blurry.
We went to the restaurant for breakfast at 9am to find a very limited selection which included fish soup, eggs, oily cold fried rice, packet ham and sliced white bread. One look at the state of the restaurant windows, which were also covered in greasy handprints and dirt, and I was not in the mood to eat.
We then packed our belongings checked out. Cutting our stay short by two days. An equally friendly second receptionist checked us out, requesting that we not give the hotel a bad review. I walked her around the hotel lobby and pointed out some of the main hotspots of filth (the handprint, very dirty flooring, spider's webs) and told her I would be writing an honest review. Which I have.
It was most definitely not worth over $100 a night (2, 500, 000VND) for a supposed 4* hotel. My advice is to stay in one of the many homestays in the surrounding area. I would recommend Sen's Homestay, where we booked at 9:20am and arrived at 9:40am to be greeted by name and shown straight to our clean room. It only cost $16 (360,000VND) a night.

+1
Recently launched boutique hotel very close to Tam Coc and Ninh Binh old
Town.
The reasonably small hotel is beautiful maintained and has all the facilities you need.
It has a spa, rooftop swimming pool, restaurant, cinema room, free bicycles and scooter rentals available.
We have stayed in 2 rooms, a junior suite and a deluxe double, both spacious lay-out and beautifully decorated with airconditioning working properly.
What made our stay truly special is all of the staff at both the reception and Sesame restaurant.
They are very attentive to your needs.
I had a severe cold and felt a bit “under the weather”. The receptionist could tell immediately and arranged a cup of ginger tea and the spa facilities to be ready.
The lady at the rooftop restaurant took care of our needs during breakfast, refreshments at the pool and dinner. Always polite and friendly.
When returning to Ninh Binh/Tam Coc we will definitely return to this little gem.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast delicious, but what turned a nice hotel to a very memorable experience was the staff. Everything was hassle free and the staff helped us get a scooter which was brought to the hotel entrance in 10 mins. No additional document check, nothing. We could leave to explore 10 minutes after we reached. And the prices were the same as if you went to the shop and did everything yourself.
After dinner, we called and booked the hotel spa and even though the spa is supposed to be till 11pm, we could book a long spa treatment as late as 10:15pm. That was fantastic as well. The receptionist Mr. Thor was so kind and attentive and suggested to us to use the Steam room/Sauna and Jacuzzi before the Spa massages. They got the facilities running just for us, and this level of service makes you feel very pampered.
The next day Mr. Thor again gave us many recommendations for the next part of our trip and helped us get a cheap cab to the airport. We wanted to tip him for all the help he gave us but he politely pointed to the tip jar and said it's for everyone.
Once again, I can't recommend Lalita boutique more. Whether it be the facilities or the people, it will not disappoint you!!

We stayed at Lalita Hotel in Ninh Binh for 3 nights. The staff, especially on reception, are amazing. They made us feel so welcomed and were so helpful with advice on places to go and things to do. The hotel is located just a little outside of Tam Coc and we could use push bikes for free to cycle into town and to local attractions. The location for us was perfect as we wanted somewhere quiet to relax on an evening. It was my birthday during the stay and the staff arranged for a birthday cake to be in our room when we returned which was lovely. Our room was amazing, very big, very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was very fresh with a wide variety of foods. I would highly recommend and would return to this hotel. The staff are the best.

Really fantastic staff and a nice clean, modern hotel. The location is also convenient to all of the tourist activities in the area. We were able to check in very early in the morning (I emailed the hotel ahead of time) and they even let us go to breakfast that morning. Free use of the jacuzzi/sauna/steam room. We also booked a massage which was great value for money. Weather was poor so we didn’t use the rooftop pool but it looked great. Breakfast buffet was great, food selection was very good.

We stayed 3 nights in Ninh Binh at Lalita. The hotel is located in Tam Coc a little out of the town centre. It’s a convenient location for exploring the region as well as not being right in the hustle and bustle of the old town.
The hotel itself is a lovely little boutique style hotel with beautifully appointed rooms. We opted for a premium room and are so glad we did. We were located on the 4th floor corner room and had great views of the area. The room had lots of windows and a balcony to sit out on. It was also generously sized with plenty of space to move about. It was more like a suite rather than a standard hotel room. It looks very much like the pictures on their website too.
The staff are very friendly. They met us at the hotel entrance when we arrived and took our bags to the room. The check in process was super easy. They had us sit in their beautiful lounge area, served us fresh juice and moist hand towels, took our passports and then came and sat with us to go through the hotel information. It was the most welcoming checkin we have experienced. Wendy (Trang) the customer service manager was very friendly and helpful. She gave us suggestions of places to visit in the area and recommended a nice little cafe in Tam Coc which we really enjoyed.
The hotel has bikes available for guests to use to explore the area. You can also hire motorbikes for $120k VND per day (approximately $8 AUD). We did this and had the most amazing time exploring the region. It was a highlight of our time there. We would recommend giving it a go as Ninh Binh is much less busy than the bigger cities.
We would be happy to stay at Lalita next time we are in NB and are hoping to do so in the next 12 months.

When we arrived in Ninh Binh, we didn't have any expectations, but the hotel we stayed at turned out to be one of the few reasons we had an amazing time. The hotel staff upgraded us to their best suite for free and were extremely courteous, hospitable, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. They even went out of their way to help us arrange local and outstation logistics. Additionally, the hotel's location was fantastic as it offered stunning views of endless paddy fields while still being in close proximity to Tam Coc and other important areas. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Ninh Binh as it provides excellent value for money!
