Situated in Trang An Eco Tourism Complex, An's Eco Garden is far away Hanoi city only 96 km, and Noi Bai International Airport approximately 140 km. From here, it is very easy to access to Ninh Binh city with only3km, about 5 km to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and 5.7 km to Thai Vi Temple. The guest can also get to Tam Coc caves for 12 km far away, and for 30 km to Cuc Phuong National Park. For someone who are looking for a simultaneously relax in a pristine natural setting and to engage themselves into the richness of day to day local life, An's Eco Garden offers in every way. Whether it is walking over rice fields, climbing up to rocks, enjoying every minute of quiet time for fishing or simply immerse yourself into nature by sleeping with a symphony of cricket sounds at night, and listening bird singing in early morning. All will charm your heart. An's Eco Garden is really a right place to stay in which everyone can get a chance to forget about the worries of daily life and to enjoy the best Trang An has to offer.
This resort is set at the foot of limestone rock, like a land version of Ha Long bay. It is the most beautiful oasis of calm, located down a long lane and features quirky accommodation types from bamboo huts on stilts to converted buses! The rooms are positioned around a big lake and landscaped gardens which are exceptionally well kept.
We stayed in one of the thatched huts which had a lake view. The room was perfect - plenty of space including a hanging rail and wardrobe for clothes, plus big bathroom / wet room. There were a few mozzyâs but the room had an electric fly swat if you were quick enough to catch them. Our favourite thing to do was to sit on the terrace with a coffee in the morning and soak up the view! We also liked the fact there were picnic benches dotted around the lake if you wanted to sit and chill. The other thing to mention is that thereâs Wi-Fi connectivity everywhere you go around the resort which is really handy.
There are 2 improvements this resort could make which I feel would really positively impact them. One is the food⊠whilst there are a vast array of menu options, I think it would work in their favour to offer fewer but better quality dishes. The breakfast would also benefit from fresh pastries and bread options.
Secondly, whilst the pool is absolutely stunning (it really is picture perfect overlooking the lake), there are only 5 sun beds which, during really busy periods, means thereâs nowhere to relax in the sun once theyâre all taken (the picnic benches are under trees which suits their purpose). A little jetty out onto the lake with additional beds would be fabulous!
The hotel is situated near a few towns, all of which are accessible (and cheap) by taxi which the hotel can call for you.
I would definitely recommend staying here for a few days, itâs perfect to relax and unwind!

A very unique because original location: In addition to beautiful bungalows in the local style, there are converted old minibuses or military trucks as rooms. Well equipped! Especially: A fantastically beautiful environment, which invites you to hike. Very nice, well-kept garden area around a small lake, infinity pool, good gastronomy (restaurant + bar), as almost always in Vietnam decidedly friendly and helpful staff. Worth it!

The setting is sumptuous, in the middle of nature, with a small lake, tropical flowers, hibiscus, birds of paradise, fruit trees, grapefruit trees, birds, goats on the rocky peaks. We find ourselves in modern times. Itâs true that itâs far from the city, we didnât miss it because we had a guide and a program for the different days. What a delight when you come home to slip into the water of the infinity pool and relax. The menu is well stocked with some Western dishes. The staff is smiling, responsive and attentive. We took the night train and vacated our bungalow in the morning, we were nevertheless able to enjoy the swimming pool and take a shower before our departure, which was very appreciable. The bungalows are properly equipped, the wifi works well. We stayed there for three days and enjoyed every single one of them.

We stayed with the family at the Anâs Eco Garden Hotel in Ninh Binh for two nights in October, attracted by the beautiful photos and the promise of a peaceful setting. At first glance, the hotel is superb: a pleasant environment with a beautiful pool and a neat decoration that invites relaxation. Unfortunately, however, our experience was marred by several inconveniences.
The room we were allotted, the 105, is right next to a pump or a noisy machine, which made the nights very difficult. The constant noise of the wind tunnel was omnipresent, preventing us from finding sleep. Moreover, the toilets were clogged as soon as we arrived, and despite several reports, the problem was not solved throughout our stay. This situation made access to the bathroom particularly unpleasant, especially for our girls, who were sickened by the persistent smell.
Another unpleasant surprise: a 3.5% surcharge is charged for payments by credit card, an information not initially provided. Itâs a shame, as the catering staff were charming and very attentive, which helped alleviate our disappointment a little.
Finally, the location of the hotel is quite secluded, so if your goal is to visit Ninh Binh, it would be better to choose accommodation closer to the center to avoid trips. In summary, although the setting is attractive, the noise nuisance, plumbing problems and unforeseen expenses unfortunately marred our stay.

Host not serious. We had a Reservation for 01-03/09/2024. On 30/09 (coincidentally the day when the deadline for free cancellation expired) the host writes us that he must cancel the Reservation for unspecified "problems", offering us alternatively a sort of caravan. Needless to say, we chose Reservation Cancellation. This however created us quite a few problems as A) there were practically no more facilities available in a very touristy place like Ninh Binh, and B) we had to spend much more on similar accommodation. One thinks that the host had the opportunity to sell at a higher price the room we had booked, and jumped at it. AWFUL.

The quality of the room is bad compared to the price (1 million), the toilet is dirty, the nozzle is very dirty, oh my god, I don't dare use it or take pictures, now I'm still haunted :( , the breakfast is also bad, The table next to the lake is dirty, wipe it with paper and it's all black. In general, the only thing that's good about the resort is the peaceful lake view. For 1 million, the room quality is so bad, I won't go back The accommodation is so uncomfortable.

Anâs Eco Garden is situated amidst the rice paddies and nature, where the sound of goats calling from the mountains is more common than the noise of an occasional motorbike passing by. So if you are in for a quiet and relaxing stay than look no further. We were amazed by setting of this small eco resort, situated at the foot of a mountain, overlooking a lake and surrounded by beautiful nature.
We stayed for two nights in a bamboo bungalow with lake view. The bungalow was spacious and nicely decorated with bamboo furniture, wooden floor and enough storage room for clothing. The bungalow was equipped with air conditioning and a fan and âsealed ofâ with windows and a door (so no bugs coming in, expect for mosquitos). The adjacent bathroom had a good shower with nice hot water (note that the boiler needs 15 minutes to heat). Only things missing were lamps on the nightstands for reading as there was one main switch for the lights, illuminating the whole room and a mosquito net above the bed.
The bungalow was exceptionally clean but there was a faint strange smell (perhaps insecticide/cleaning product?) that was most apparent upon entering. In line with the cleanliness of the bungalow, the property was very well maintained and the staff was super friendly and helpful (special thanks to receptionist Liam who made our stay very enjoyable).
As the resort is a little far from eateries, in-house dinning is recommended. The restaurant offers a wide choice of Vietnamese dishes at reasonable prices (5 to 10 USD per person) but donât expect any culinary delights. For breakfast there was Ă la carte choice from the menu (bread with butter and jam, eggs, fruit platterâŠ).
In conclusion, we were sorry for only staying two nights and can really recommend this place for its outstanding setting, clean rooms and good service.
Tip: bikes are available (free of charge) and moterbikes can be rented for a small price.

205 Lemongrass house, a bungalow a dream. If you are in Vietnam you can not miss Ninh Binh and this eco resort. You will be immersed in a Jurassic scenery, surrounded by nature and silence, with gardens and outdoor spaces cared for in every detail. Clean infinity pool on the pond and small playground. Possibility to rent motorcycles and bikes and to organize tours with them (we asked the driver for Trang An, Mua Cave and Bich Pagoda). The room and bathroom are spacious, with large beds, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries. Great food, good breakfast with lots of fruit, don't expect a great buffet. Also here wonderful welcome, sorry to leave.

We chose to stay at An's as it was outside the tourist areas, and it just looked amazing. We were not disappointed. We were heartily welcomed when we arrived and shown our rooms and facilities. Each of the rooms are simply decorated with no frills, but exactly what we needed. The rim- flow pool was a bonus and we jumped in shortly after arriving g, which was a blessing g. Phun (not sure of spelling, the manager was extremely accommodating and arranged everything we needed, including motorbikes, car bookings, and advice. After we checked out, they held our bags for us (as most do) until we arrived back later that day. The bonus was that we were given a free shower, another swim, and could enjoy a beer while waiting for our transfer - great customer service! Highly recommended for a relaxed venue away from the madding crowd with all the perks.
