I loved staying here. The rooms in old part of hotel were amazing. Walls adorned with frescoes and ceiling with exposed beams. Shutter doors on windows. Modern bathroom. Nice little terrace for evening beers . Breakfast room an artists delight. Buffet breakfast had good choice. I think there is newer extension..try for rooms in old part of building. Well located,...

loved the old style doors and windows some beautifully carved. pretty much cucumber-n-tomato forever for my vegan breakfast, no variety on grains either. pretty grapevine veranda-setting but usually occupied. easy walk to eateries and sights, phone flashlights required for very dark walkways. courtyards serve as lounges.

A very beautiful and cozy hotel few min walking distance of the old city. The hotel is designed in authentic style and gives you a feeling that you are still in the part of the old Bukhara city. Breakfasts are made with love and served in a very beautiful old room. Will definitely recommend the place to those who are...

Slightly worried when we arrived as the hotel is along unpaved lanes and alongside a pile of rubble, but inside it is beautiful and the English speaking staff go out of their way to be helpful. Although in the old city, the walk to the centre is along dark lanes so take a torch, but it feels safe. We had...

Everything everyone says about the character and charm of this place is on target. The decoration is lovely and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was good, the water was hot, and the air con worked. On the down side, the courtyards were so full of smokers we couldn't enjoy them or open our windows. Finally, the guy who runs the...

I visit Bukhara regularly and this is my favourite place to stay - brilliant, quiet location in the heart of the old city. Each spacious room has been thoughtfully designed, combining the best traditions of Bukharan applied arts with modern conveniences - the rooms are all different and all beautiful. The 19th century breakfast room is magnificent and the breakfast...

The place is a gracious blend of comfort, convenience , and history. The hotel is suited in old Jewish neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the Lyabi house - central plaza of the Old Bukhara. The old part of the hotel has a 19th-century dining room and several authentic rooms. The renovated part has stylishly decorated rooms with clean...

An excellent small privately run hotel with friendly helpful staff. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in particular was magnificent. I also had a vegetarian meal one night which was delicious. From the hotel it was about a five minute walk to Lyabi-Hauz.

Reception - very friendly and helpful. Showed off their "new" breakfast room dating from 16th century. Room - very spacious and huge double bed with comfortable mattress. Bathroom - very clean with shampoo and soap supplied. Towels are soft and changed as required. Close (5 minute walk) to "mall" where Alibaba and his relatives are happy to sell you souvenirs....

Very nice buffet selection for breakfast, with special requests being promptly answered (including, at a wee extra cost, pretty decent espresso). Interesting building with its share of history, yet up to modern standards. Very helpful owner eager to help with all our needs. An added plus is the free water dispenser allowing you to re-fill your bottle with safe drinking...
