This hotel is a former Madrass so it is very interesting. Rooms are nice, clean and have fridges. Staff are nice and breakfast is plenty. You can relax on the terrace. Location is very good just few minutes from the old town (Lyab-i-Hauz)

Converted from a Madrassah, the smaller rooms are surprisingly characterful. The upper terrace gets very hot on a sunny day. All is spotlessly clean and the staff very welcoming and friendly, the tea is delicious. Positioning couldn't be much better, being just a few minutes stroll from the historic centre.

The Aist (meaning ‘stork’) Hotel is a short stroll to the historic town square and pool – Lyabi Khauz – and within walking distance of the Ark Fortress, Kalyan Mosque, Great Minaret and other highlights. Some rooms are adjacent to the road so keep the windows closed and the air-con running in summer. I found the converted madrassah unusual in...

Location is very convenient, the rooms clean, the inner terrace very pretty, the breakfast good. However, a problem was the noise of people talking loudly in the courtyard at night and the staff that only seems to care about this if they are called.

This Hotel is well located near the old city and close to all the main attractions. It appears to be relatively new with large rooms and good sized bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and it was pleasant sitting outside . Wi-fi was only availabel in the foyer .The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Above all, this is a very convenient hotel, situated in walking distance of the beautiful buildings and the square with its lake, lit up at night time and a great hot spot for locals and tourists alike. We made up a scratch supper of cheese and bread with fruit from the little grocer's shop opposite and sat to eat it...

This is a lovely hotel, traditional decor, spotlessness clean and excellent service. We were there for three nights and each morning we were served with a delightful breakfast. The only negative is that the beds are rather hard.

Travelling with a group from Beijing to Uzbekistan, the hotel in Bukhara provided the authentic experience that was lacking in the more up - market hotels. Being a converted medrassa made the rooms odd shapes, but we found everything to our liking including the great breakfast spread on the inner courtyard balcony. Service was great and included provision for the...

This boutique hotel doesn't quite make the mark despite having a lot of potential. The location is great, just a very short walk from the main square around the Lyabi Hauz. Breakfast is served upstairs on an open terrace which is lovely. However I was a single in a twin room upstairs which was small but ok, but my main...
