The bamboo hut was really comfortable, and we loved the outdoor bathroom! We had new bottles of water everyday, and there was a net around the bed! It was really nice to be in the middle of the nature. The staff was very kind and helpful ! :) It is possible to rent some bicycles at the reception to go around Sukhothai, it is very cool! Thanks for all !! :)
We loved this place. A simple bungalow made lovely by the owner who cares about pleasing the guests. Artistic touches everywhere. The grounds are open and gently landscaped. The service great. Our room was super clean! The restaurant is small and very homey. The food fresh and delicious. The owner is very gracious and knowledgeable. Easy to get to old town with available bikes.
Sometimes I wonder if the word Resort is a misnomer in Sukhothai? At the prices charged here with breakfast included you cannot ask for more. Well if you intend to stay here bring along, 1. Bug spray 2. Insect repellant 3. Insect bite cream 4. Umbrella or raincoat 5. Water bottle 6. Toothbrushes (this are not supplied) 7. Biscuits or dry ration (you are not allowed to cook or eat in the room, a fine will be imposed if you do so) 8. Torchlight The number of staff is limited, the manager TinTin seems to be the only one that speaks english, her sister Ming speaks a little and if you need to make any enquiries it is kind of difficult to ask Ming. Anyway they are friendly. If you like Dogs they have a very lovable dog. Guest are housed in air conditioned concrete huts with a toilet/bathroom. There are no communications or intercom system between the front desk and huts. The free internet is only available at the restuarant. The air-conditioning works fine but the plumbing in the hut we lived in was bad as the water pressure at the shower was so much lower than the toilet side. I am not sure where the water is sourced but it is clean. There is a playground but I did not see any children playing there. The surrounding area is really beautiful and is within a farming area. There is a paddock for cattle next to our little cottage hence there is a slight odour if the wind blows in the direction of the hut. You will need an umbrella if it rains to get to the office and small restaurant in front (the next nearest restaurant is about 2Km away I was told) . The restaurant serves Thai and Western food likewise for breakfast. The restaurant is not operational 24 hours and there is a break during the day. There is no room service at this 'Resort'. The path to the office has great puddles of water if it rains. I would have brought some pest spray if I had known as there were some black bugs flying around at night in the room. My wife had returned with bites on both arms. For entertainment there is a TV and satellite receiver with more than 100 channels - mostly in Thai. You will need to setup the correct inputs between the TV and setup box if you need to watch the broadcast. The room comes with a medium size refrigerator with only two bottles of water. You can get some sodas from a little village sundry shop just outside the 'Resort' I liked the bed mattress as it was really firm. On the whole the room is pretty clean. There is no safe provided in the room. Be careful if you intend sitting outside as I had sited a wasp's or bee's nest in a cavity of a garden artificial tree trunk next to the garden table and seat outside my hut. It is close to the Historical Park which is a plus point. Lovely place to take morning walks as there are plenty of birds and nice scenery with well paved roads along paddy fields and more ruins. To reach the 'Resort' from the airport you will need today for a van ride that shuttles passengers to the hotels from the airport. You will need to get the 'Resorts' assistance if you intend to hire a TukTuk to visit the park. However, they do have bicycles for hire at a very cheap rate. The ride by TukTuk to town is about 40 minutes and to the airport it is more than an hour. Make sure to inform that the hotel early to arrange for a pickup if you need to get back to the airport.…
Naracha Resort is behind the National park. Our room is suitable for 2pax if you want an extra bed they will provide mattress but no bed.and also, all room types do not have twin bed. I don't like the mattress because I feel back pain. Facilities in room, Air condition , hairdryer , Tv, Bathroom amenities, refrigerator Breakfast is ok. If you want a la carte breakfast , i recommend to order because there is only on cook. Only 3min. by car from resort to National park.
This is a lovely resort, we stayed in the bamboo huts for one night, they are very cute but very basic, 1 night was enough for us so we stayed the second night in the other bungalows on site, they are very comfortable and spacious. The lady on site is very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked fresh to order and was very good. I would certainly stay here again
