Generally a very good hotel all round. Service is fantastic, earnest and sincere. It's important to have good concierge service in Bangkok to help you weed out the taxi drivers that don't use meter. I am very appreciative of their service every time. The staff also resourceful and use initiatives in their offering of service, from detail in room cleaning...

Our airport pick up was the worst one ever, we had to travel from the terminal to the parking in a taxi with not enough room for our suitcases... than on arrival the person that checked us in was VERY rude to my spouse. Apart from these experiences the hotel is a truly 5 * luxury property, however the rooms...

Understated elegance and charm. Even the basic rooms are gorgeous, complete with complimentary in-house chocolate truffles. And the buffet breakfast is my favourite. The Colonnade staff are very friendly, courteous and eager to please. Even the chef makes his rounds to ask if everything is excellent. The Friday afternoon chocolate buffet should be experienced at least once!! They do a...

Unfortunately after waiting for over 5 minutes nothing happened. No hostess, no Sawadeekah, absolutely nothing so we left (fully ignored) and approached to buffet restaurant to learn from the...

A luxurious hotel with smiling service all the way. One can even order a pillow menu! Different types of pillow to choose from to ensure you a good sleep! The down side of this hotel which is not its fault, is the taxi drivers will tend to opt for 'non-meter' ride service, overcharged with a flat fee. Just ensure you...

As the title indicates, this is a terrific hotel. Luxurious, elegant, comfortable and very welcoming yet understated and unencumbered by conspicuous bling. A great choice for any traveller looking to go five star but who can happily do without the razzmatazz, hullabaloo and rigmarole.
