This is an amazing place to stay in Koh Tao. Off the busy strip. Great if you're looking for a place that is secluded. Best to rent a scooter if you plan to stay here. One of the nicest bungalows we stayed in. Couldn't get any closer to the water. Food was great, fantastic shakes. And the owners were very... More

We went to Koh Tao to do two things, dive but more importantly to find those amazing places you picture when you think about the Thailand islands! We arrive at Tao Thong we found exactly that: PARADISE!!!! This hotel offers privacy in a beautiful location between two small beaches. The family that host you is extremely friendly and helpful and... More

We stayed two nights at Tao Thong Villa 2, good bungalows with fan, well cleaned and with hot shower. Very romantic scenario, bungalows next to the rocks and the sea, when you slew you can hear only the sound of the waves..very nice people at the desk, only check in your booking if breakfast is included otherwise you will be... We only had 3 nights to spent in koh Tao and we're still sorry that we didn't go to Tao Thong Villa straightaway. We arrived late at night and stayed in Sairee which is nice if you are young and like to party. The accomodation is a bit far from the pier and taxidrivers charge quite a lot to go... More

I made my booking online what made me pay double price then walking in. There was no restaurant open for some days so I had to walk around till I found an old woman who offered me to cook me something basic. You do need a motorcycle otherwise you need to walk everything as there are no taxis. So I... More

Great food, great location, very friendly People, good for snorkling, very nice place if you are looking for rest on your holliday, a bit diffilcult to reach for the town center. The matrasses are hard to sleep on, that is something they could improve

I have lived here for 5 months! The bungalows are simple but very charming! Because you are open air to ocean and jungle you have to be open to a few creatures in your living space. It is one of the most specials places to stay!! Momma cooks some mean thai food! Both beaches are also great places to snorkel!... More

We had booked Tao Thong Villa 2 on a website before we even started with our travel. Its a secluded villa with beautiful wooden cottages and small seating area with a hammock outside each cottage. The cottages are made on stilts so below the cottage you have space as well, though its quite rocky and full of wild flora and... More

We stayed here only 2 nights and found this a pretty nice place. We had an amazing view from our bungalow and it was pretty cheap(500baht). It was a bit more isolated/further away from the city than we expected. With Koh Tao's crazy taxi prices this was not good. We could've spent double the price somewhere else of we could've... More

I came to Tao Thong Villa II not announced and got the last bungalow. Unfortunately not one of the fantastic, wood and cheaper bungalows - that are a bit more isolated and have a stunnig view of the bay - but the more expensive concrete one. Not only the view was not as stunning (partly covered by another building in... More
