The hotel stands at the top of hill. You can see breathtaking view from its restaurant and can enjoy a pool. We couldn't use the pool (because of the rain). And all of staff can speak English. You can choice the list of breakfast. The way to the hotel is steep ascent. If you go there you should take a...

When we first arrived in Koh Tao, we decided to walk to the resort versus booking a taxi. At first, the resort was hard to find until we started following signs for high bar. The resort is located up a steep hill (about 200-250m); quite the climb but worth it. Recommend renting a scooter if you're not into the exercise....

We enjoyed our time in the hotel pretty much. The staff is friendly and really helpful. There are only a few bungalows and less people, so you can relaxe. It's peaceful, quite and clean. Big rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast is a la carte and delicious. From the pool you have an amazing view to the sea.

The Chintakiri is a low key hotel, not crowded, away from most other businesses on Koh Tao. The location on a hill affords stunning views of the bay from the room balconies and the common areas. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Each room is connected by an outdoor path that is wide...

We loved our stay in Chintakiri The view from the pool and from our bungalow was absolutely stunning. We had room 103 which had a killer view The staff is really helpful and are always there to greet you with a smile. We went diving very early on two mornings and they always made sure we had a sandwich to...

We stayed here in 2015 and came back in 2016 because we were so happy the year before. While the resort is still great and offers a lot of privacy (theoretically) and the view is stunning, I was unhappy this year for a few reasons. Firstly, nothing changed in the rooms. Since this resort is one of the more expensive...

Took a chance on this hotel which is set high above Chalook bay. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the bay, it was stunning. The views were just as amazing from the restaurant and the infinity pool. It was worth the climb twice a day, but it is not suitable for people less able than...

My girlfriend and I visited Chintakiri Resort and originally only booked one night. We were welcomed with a glass of cold apple juice and our room was ready within 10 minutes even though we arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning. The terrace with the restaurant and the pool where we had breakfast ever morning is absolutely stunning. You have...

As a young couple of students, we were never able to afford a hotel with such high luxury standards before. We had a deluxe room with an amazing view. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok. For the price we paid, this was the best we ever had.

The Chintakiri bungalow had by far the best bed we have come across during our travels through Thailand. Furthermore the views are great, super friendly staff who tries to accomodate your every wish. To reach the hotel you have to walk up quite a steep hill but its totally worth it plus it means you can have an extra desert!...
