Two friends and I stayed at Phuphaya seaview resort, and did not enjoy our stay at all. We traveled in june which is the low season for them, the hotel was absolutely empty we were the only guest. Despite being the only guest we always had to ask/remind them to clean our room and bring new towels. The staff were... More

Me and my friend stayed at Phupaya during 25-26 June. Each day our money was gone in the room while we were away. Altogether we lost 3000 baht (since we are just students so the money lost is not a small number to us). We went to the police and the police didn't know how to help. The hotel staff... More

They say Phi Phi is a dream island. For me, it was not. The hotel is a bungalow, which is quaint but VERY far, hilly walk from the centre, will no pool. Very bog standard but I think for the price of $20 a night, you could get a lot better value on the island. Bit disappointed to the whole... More

Friendly staff and really clean room. Great service but the only problem is the location! There are some good restaurants but have to walk about 20 mins. You would have to take the cab to go to places. There's definitely no nightlife in effect around the surrounding areas.

Only writing this so people avoid making the same mistake we did. Koh Phi Phi is a beautiful island and for the price Phuphraya "Seaview" Resort is charging it, unfortunately, doesn't do it justice. The hotel is a 30min walk from the pier and climb the steep access road that was constantly flooded with sewage. Even after the climb, the... More

If you are looking for somewhere on a budget and only need the bare necessities ie. Bed, toilet and shower then I guess this place works. We booked the cheap room which had no A/C but had a fan (which did nothing but move the hot air around the room) expecting it to be relatively cheap standards. The hotel is... More

Stayed here with friends in basic bungalow. Read all about this place from Tripadvisor, so there were no surprises. Bungalow was clean & comfortable, very relaxing. Great views from the hill top. Bit of a stroll from town but it was secluded and that's what I liked. Don't go if you don't like walking or cats. Staff are quiet but... More

This resort was excellent value. Extremely helpful staff (lovely receptionist). Bungalows were extremely clean, comfortable bed, safe, aircon and the most stunning view (we had the stilted bungalow overlooking the sea). Everyone talks about the hill... Not going to lie, in the heat it does make you pant a little but it's only 30 seconds of your life!! There's a... More

But for the friendly groundstaff (who help carrying the luggage to and fro to the pier) the staff is, when available, rude and unfriendly. The breakfast is a farce. They even charge extra for the second cup of (untasty) coffee. The hotel is a good walk from the village, mostly uphill. I would not visit this hotel a next time.
