Where to start, we booked this through a agency called 'Chaokoh Travel Centre Ltd' which is located inside Krabi Pier do not use them their complete con artists! We thought the photos of Bamboo Mountain View looked really nice and worked out a decent price for 5 nights as their was 5 of us, the photos are deceiving. We turned...

We were conned into staying here by an office stall in krabi before we boarded the boat to phi phi. He promised us it was the best value for money and had a nice vue, a pool table and even showed us photos. We paid him which was a huge mistake! We didn't even stay in the room for longer...

When we arrived in phi phi to be greeted by a young man from bamboo mountain who took us on a 20 min treck to his tiny rusty little van we knew we had made the wrong decision, when we arrived at bamboo mountain we knew 100% we had made the wrong decision being fooled by a company at krabi...

booked this hotel through a tourist information agent in Don Meung airport, from looking at the brochure for it, it looked reasonable. we arrived after a 20 minute hike to the reception. The young woman who works on the reception has very little English and is quiet rude, though the other staff were quiet nice. we were brought to our...

ABSOLUTE HELL HOLE AVOID!!! Stayed in the room for approximately 3 minutes. The hole in the wall and the rotting bamboo were enought to make me leave. My travelling party and I went to reception to cancel the booking and leave but they had already charged our card. The lady in reception pretended she could not speak English when we...

We made the mistake of booking this 'resort' through a TAT agent in Bangkok who recommended it. After arriving at the hotel which is located next to some slum area via the local sewage farm we were taken up the steps of death. The room was disgusting! Holes in the wall, no furniture, smelly and devoid of any natural light....

We stayed for 3 nights at mountain bamboo. The rooms were very basic and set into a mountain so the walk to the resort was strenuous and the steps leading to the bungalows were very steep. The lady at the front desk didn't have the best social skills and the wifi was non existent. The only positive is that it's...

I have learnt the hard way that tourist locations use the term 'resort' very very loosely... My boyfriend and I were in a room at the very very top.. The walk up was enough to cause an injury - walking up steep uneven steps, and rusty steel slats that are falling away from the frame in places.. The room was...

We booked directly through the bamboo mountain website in November last year only to turn up on January 3rd to be told they were "overbooked". No apology, no care factor and to make matters worse we argued for the best part of 90 mins with the absolutely horrible woman at the desk to even get our money refunded. We eventually...
