Booked through hostelworld.com. Paid 2300 baht/night for a double room bungalow, but got placed in a family room, nice. Travellers next door came at 6 in the evening and were quoted 1500 instead of 2300 baht! So don't book online, if you're adventurous!

I was not impressed by Chunut house. The rooms had cockroaches, gecko's and insects and the rooms was not clean. It was also quite far from the ferry port. For the amount of money I was paying, I was hugely disappointed.

Although situation further away from the main 'town' that is packed with shops, restaurants, and pubs, Chunut House offers vacation huts that are surrounded by greens, and home-grown cats. (I think they are home-grown, as the staff feeds the cats everyday with cat's food)
