Stayed two nights, just to be able to snorkle at sunrise when the beaches are empty. Good wildlife under the surface, but be early before the daytrippers come. Beach is full between 1100-1500. Accomodation is ok, but do not expect any luxury even if you go for the priciest room/bungalow. Service was ok, but as many others comment, the staff...

We stayed overnight at the island. The true benefit to seeing the island is when all the day trippers have gone and it is worth spending the money just for that. Having an evening snorkel without crowds and watching the sun set from the view point is truely wonderful. The food on the island is adequate too and the staff...

There are only one restaurant and the food is not good!! No cocktails, no mango no ice cream no diet soda. Well they did not have much !! The rooms wher not clean, the sheets had holes in them. Everything closes at 9. The sunset is beautiful and the water is really great. So perfect for a day trip and...

Staying at the hotel is a good idea to avoid the most crowded hours of the day, you can profit the beach in the morning or in the end of the afternoon almost alone. You can also profit for see the beautiful sunset from the view point. The problem is that the restaurant (the only one) is expensive for the...

Third time visiting this beautiful little island but this is the first (and last time) that I stayed at the resort. We payed extra for a deluxe villa room for 2 nights overlooking the beach and the room itself was adequate however the service from the staff was appalling. We spent New Years Eve at the resort and were required...

Perfect white sand beaches and crystal clear waters full of fish. Great snorkelling. The island is very environmentally friendly, no plastic or beach towels allowed (you can rent beach chairs for 150 baht for two). Great little cafe offering lunch and smoothies. Lots of wooden walkways to get around the rocky island. A must see if visiting ko Tao.

We have just left Nangyuan, and as many of the reviews say it is perfect, between 5pm and 10am. Now, when I say perfect, I mean the setting and location! There are free scheduled boats going from Koh Tao a couple of times a day. Entry to the island is free, deck chairs on the beach are also free. Well...

I have almost the same experience with LucaSora, so I borrowed his title. The only friendly people (staff) is the person who carried our luggage to/from the cabin. He was always with some smiles even when he carried no less than 50lb of luggage on his shoulders and the sweat is visible from his face. The rest of the staffs...

How can anyone not love staying here? We recently stayed for 5 nights and if we could have we would have stayed longer. We thought it was paradise and we will definitely come back again and for longer. Some people must be very hard to please! I must admit I was really worried before we arrived based on the very...

Absolute horribly bad attention to service. Management does not give a hoot about the bungalow business. Smelly, no sheets or mosquito nets, TVs placed in impossible-to-view positions along with no hot water, soap or towels. Management focuses 100% on the Chinese day-trip tourists. No plastic allowed on island but does management advertise that fact?? Drop a glass bottle and break...
