It's true, the bay lounge and resort is at the bottom of what I would call a small mountain; it is steep and can be a little slippery when wet (like any concrete surface) but it is well lit and takes about three min to walk up or down. The taxi's drop you off at the top of the hill...

We arrived having not been told that there was a transfer service available to be dropped by a taxi at the to of what can only be described as a mountain! After a ferry ride and carrying heavy backpacks this wasn't the most pleasant start. Check in was slow and seemed to take forever, we were then shown to our...

My friend and I were staying here in Ko Phangan for the Full Moon party and wanted something close to the location of Full Moon. We arrived at Thongsala pier and Bay Lounge supplies a free pick up from the piers when you get there and Loy our driver was very welcoming and funny. He gave us some tips on...

Today I'll be checking out of Bay Lounge after a wonderful 4 nights. The service from the staff has been above and beyond - so friendly and helpful. The resort itself is lovely too, with an infinity pool, private beach, bar and restaurant (which serves some of the best Thai food we have had). The bar also has happy hour,...

Upon arrival I was told that we would be collected, however, when we arrived there was no one in sight. We told a taxi driver who we was waiting for and he said we had to walk to the end of the pier. After the walk we were met by 10 white vans, none displaying our hotel name. We were...

Stayed here a few months back and been meaning to write a review since as this is a great little place. I live on the island and so have been to the Lounge Bar & Restaurant a few times; one of my favourite places around to chill with a cocktail and watch the sunset. Now we stayed for a little...

We booked a 15 day stay here. Bad idea. Even though the view is beautiful and the staff is super super friendly, it is boring and isolated. The beach is not vey nice and the sand inside is muddy.. Pros Excellent delicious food for very reasonable prices Loundrey for 50thb a kilo which is really reasonable Super super friendly staff...

Not to far from Haad Rin where full moon party is, but far enough from the crowd. It was a pleasant stay. Our room was very nice and the service was good. From our room we can see the sunset, which was incredible.

Having booked this trip a while ago we were a little apprehensive after reading some of the more recent mixed reviews. However, it was truly amazing - the resort is small and beautiful, well looked after with the staff regularly sweeping the beach and looking after the smallest detail. There are only 12 (I think) rooms/ lodges so the place...

“Both seafront rooms and hillside rooms looked great, as far as I know they all had air con and hot water. Ou hillside room had a big fridge with various lovely cold things in it and there was no objection to us putting anything else in it, like water we bought from the supermarket. I would like to say though that others have mentioned that they didn't have their rooms cleaned. We were told that if we wanted out rooms cleaned to ask, they are very used to catering for a lot of people who don't want to be disturbed so my advice is to just go to the bar, order a nice cold drink, ask them to clean your room and it will be done by the time you return, easy! Take your washing with you too, you'll get it back the next day!”
