We stayed 3 nights at Fisherman's Cottage and had an awesome experience. We stayed in the Sea Turtle room - Rooms are very clean and pretty spacious and the outdoor toilet is really nice. Quite an experience using the toilet outside in the dark! No air con so we didn't spend too much time in the room. Food was great,...

Wow, I've never stayed in a place like Fisherman's Cottage. It's magical, it's soulful, and I hope it's around for many years to come. Nestled on the beachfront but also a part of a lush area with a variety of plants and greenery it was an amazing escape. We met so many other kind travelers while we were there also!...

This was the most enjoyable place we stayed on our holiday. The staff were all amazing, really helpful, friendly and kind. The accommodation (while obviously being fairly basic) was clean, well designed and ideal for us! The day we checked out (we spent 5 nights there) there was a couple also checking out who had decided to cut their stay...

I stayed at Fisherman's in January of 2014 but I didn't have TripAdvisor then. Just wanted to write a quick review because I loved the place! I travelled solo for 2.5 weeks and arrived in Phuket and took a ferry to Lanta. The view on the ferry was amazing. I had emailed Fisherman's a few weeks prior to book a...

This is my 3rd trip to Thailand and by far the best. The bungalows are clean and each has it's own hammock out front. There is a bar and a kitchen serving great Thai food. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's great when the toughest choices to make in a day are what to eat and whether to watch...

Where to start, I love Thai food and that has always been a major draw card for my repeat visits. I can unequivocally say that the food at Fisherman's is the very best I've had - and not just one good dish, their food is exceptional across the board. Beyond the food, the staff are amazing, on my last visit...

We Love the Fisherman's cottage! We only ate here but the staff, the food and the view is top notch. If your in Klong Khong beach stop by and try the No Name vegetable dish with the Pad Thai. They also offer affordable bike rentals and help with snorkelling bookings.

This is definitely a place for young people who come to ko lanta for a good time. Get ready for everything to be cement and very open. The bungalows are fine and the restaurant has decent thai food. The main issue is its location as it is right next to a night club - Monkey Bar - so if your...

If you are looking for your standard resort, then this is not the place for you... There are about 10 small bungalows on the grounds with A LOT of character and an small bar and restaurant right on the beach. The food is AMAZING and any thing else you want to do on the island they'll arrange it for you....

There was lots of plus points about this place - the bungalows are right next to the beach which is great if you want to take a swim or hit one of the numerous bars and restaurants that spread out in both directions. The staff were cool and friendly guys, and the food was good. The owners will let you...
