This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. It really is a great place. I stayed in a deluxe bungalow right on the beach.

What a fantastic little bungalow place to stay. Enjoyed my time there so much . The room was big and clean , bathrooms all new. The bed was great as King size. Looked right out to the ocean as beachfront. The owners were fantastic and...More
The first time I have actually had a truly front row beachfront bungalow in Thailand which I could afford.
Situated on Klong Nin Beach - about 20 minutes by tuk tuk from the ferry pier in Baan Saladan.

The best hotel in Klong nine, value for money, in front of the sea. They can arrange anything you wish like day trips or moving to an other island. Clean rooms, a kind family, quiet and has anything you could imagine.

Phi Phi is just a party island. Unless you stay on one of the far sides of the island (which can be reached via long tail boat easily), you will hear thumping music all night. It's also quite expensive by Thai standards. There isn't anything authentic about phi phi, whereas Lanta is far more quiet and local while still having easy access to things tourists need. We had the beaches of Lanta practically to ourselves when we were there in July.
