Lovely large room with comfortable bed on the beach front. Shower is good but not luxury. The people who own it are lovely and helpful. Good prices for scooter hire and organised boat back to Krabi. Sunsets are incredible here and you can sit on your own veranda to watch right next to the sea. Breakfast is not good so... More

I am so thankful that we chose Baan Rim Lay. Personally I think that there is no point staying in a 5* hotel when you can have beach yard at your doorstep for much cheaper price. But then again, it's up to one's preference if they prefer luxury (pool and good breakfast). It is a family-run budget hotel; Mr Pong... More

I came to Koh Lanta to do a diving course and I was looking for a quiet place on the beach where I could just relax and enjoy. Baan Rim Lay was a perfect choice. Their bungalows are right at the beach, very quiet and peaceful and they offer a great view, especially for sunsets. The bungalows are very spacious... More

We really enjoyed out stay at baan rim lay. It was quiet due to low season and the owners were good about lowering the price. Pros: big fridge, they sweep and clean your room daily, oceanfront! Will definitely return to this guesthouse in the future.

The other reviews say it all. Beautiful location right on the water. Ms. Pong is incredibly kind. Don't expect five star with amenities: it's her and her husbands small operation. Kind people running a solid hotel. Location was great too: out of the way enough to feel special, but plenty of bars and food close. Just know you'll want to... More

Loved every minute of our stay at Baan Rim Lay. We had a bungalow right on the beach front. It was very spacious and clean. Lovely comfortable bed. Massive fridge too 😁. The owners are lovely, think it's family run. The lady was so helpful and very polite. She even gave us her ponchos to use whilst out on the... More

Stayed at Baan Rim Lay for 4 nights as a solo traveller. Good location on the beach easy walking distance to restaurants and 7/11. Area very quiet in low season but it was nice to have some relaxing time but I did get very bored by day 3. Had booked on booking.com back in March and wish I hadn't as... More

We spent two nights here during low season and although the weather was a let down the hotel was not. They have a few lovely rooms which look directly out onto the ocean and the beach. The rooms themselves are nicely decorated and clean, with huge beds and everything you would need. The beach is lovely, but while we were... More

So we knew it would be quit at Ko Lanta im july. But this was just too much quit in low low LOW season. We could imagine in another time of the year this is such a nice place to stay. The sea is pretty wild now and the beach itself shows the plastic soup is real! If you need... More

This place was really amazing. We booked the deluxe bungalow which is literally located next to the beach. You are provided with a spacious room, a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. You also have access to your own sunbeds, parasol etc. If you want to relax and enjoy your personal beach, we would recommend this accomodation anytime. The host... More
