My wife and I were planning on spending 17 nights traveling around various Islands and beaches of Thailand. Our first destination was 5 nights at Banana Garden Home. After 3 nights we decided we weren't going to head anywhere else. There's no need to repeat what has already been written - we found all of the comments from other reviewers...

...is what one guest said to us during our stay there. He was right! We've been travelling around SE Asia for 2 months out of a 6 month trip and so far this has been the best place we have stayed for many many reasons: 1. Great Location, 20 seconds from Klong Dao beach which a huge beach with great...

Let's start with the negative: we didn't have a room. Even though I had booked through email, confirmed a week prior, and then double confirmed a day prior we were picked up at the ferry by the owner, Annie, to hear that we had no room. There were 4 of us plus 2 other girls--all 3 of our rooms were...

All good reviews are true. This is probably the most welcoming and caring hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked two days only, and Banana was unfortunately full after that, so Annie booked us in the neighbouring resort instead. The hospitality nevertheless continued after we had checked out. - We had a free (sic!) cooking lesson! - Annie come...

After reading so many great reviews about the Banana Garden Home, I really was looking forward to my stay there. I spent 3 nights in a spacious and comfortable bungalow with air-con, less than 30 seconds from Hat Khlong Dao. Annie and her staff were wonderful. Kudos to them for doing such an excellent job and showing guests that they...

Banana Garden Home is a collection of well-built roomy bungalows right on the wonderfully benign and quiet Klong Dao beach in the north of the island. Annie, who runs the place will do anything to make You happy and puts a lot of love into everything she does. We have stayed there for only one night, as we couldn't afford...

We stayed at Banana Garden due to all the postive reviews, and it more than lived up to all the reviews!!! I am slightly germaphobic and was a little paranoid but from the moment we met at Annie at the port for our pickup- I felt more confident. Banana is rustic but incredibly clean. I mean super clean with fresh...

The trip advisor comments are right on the money. This is not a 5star accomodation but the service is 5 star. Our stay began with Annie (manager) picking us at the pier and bringing us to our room to relax and enjoy the fresh coconut drink. Check-in happened later. The location is great with lots of good restaurants within walking...

We were island hopping up the coast of Thailand from Malaysia, and we had booked several rooms or bungalows on several different islands before reaching Koh Lanta. After various searches on where to try to book a room, I stumbled upon the reviews on Trip Advisor about the Banana Garden Home. Every review seemed to glow, so I figured it...

“Ask for a bungalow along the inside avenue rather than on the entrance path as some people come bak late on mopeds and can disturb you”

“If you want quiet time in the morning, choose the chalets away from the kichen. We didn't mind it at all, but some who are easily awaken by the noise, might want more quiet room.”

“We rented the bungalow 5A, in front of the places of the staff, family bungalow for 4 persons in bamboo and must have paid extra, for the 4th person, for a made rusty iron stacked bed and of mattresses 2 cm thick were put down on a wooden plate. Mosquito nets with a hole, a net of water for the shower. The worst GH of our 15 days in Thailande.”
