We are a family of 3 and vegetarians,what more do you need than an all veg Hyatt. We got two rooms facing the road,Dec is the month of Dhanurmasa,so by 5.30am hymes and sholkas were played across the street,so we could not sleep extra,which is usually the main agenda when on a vacation. This is the temple town,so we did not mind getting up early and listening to the mantras or hymns. The housekeeping is bit slow,but on repeated reminders will definitely do their best. The staff at the restaurant is very friendly,again the crowd management needs to improve,as few of my orders were forgot and we choose not to remind them more. The buffet is good ,with good quality food. The dishes are tasty,rotis and nan were excellent. Staff is friendly at the front desk. It was a jam packed time at Hyatt for the year end. Good enjoyable stay. They did arrange a new year party till 10.30 am with snacks and drinks

I was on a family holiday down South and was pleasantly surprised to see that there's a Hyatt Place in Rameswaram. Given my previous experiences with Hyatt across the world, I didn't think twice before booking rooms at this property. The rooms are hygienic, staff was cordial and proper measures are in place to ensure safety during COVID-19 situation. Placement of sanitizers not only at convenient public places, but also in the rooms helped a lot in ensuring hygiene upkeep. They have ample parking space. For taste buds, they have a wide variety of items in breakfast and dinner buffets. Would definitely recommend this place for stay in Rameswaram.

We stayed at 2 nights and had booked 2 rooms, months before and specific instructions on adjacent rooms 2 days before. When we checked in, there were no adjacent rooms and we had to wait for almost 30min before checking in. The room was very nice and well kept and with amenities. However, the housekeeping was quite miserable. The first day, they forgot the hand towels and the finished shower gels and forgot the cups in the bathroom over the toilet counter. The second day, they forgot the foot towels and the hand towels. In spite of calling and reminding to replace, it was not done! The restaurant was severely understaffed as there was another event and therefore the staff was split. Half the staff seems to shy from looking at the customer and walk without making eye-contact. There were some very good guys too who made the restaurant experience great.
Great pool and facilities, however, people were just going in without a shower or even wearing appropriate clothes, some the hotel should manage for hygiene purposes.
Lastly, the check-out could have been faster. I gave instructions to prepare the bill and keep ready while we went for breakfast. When I came back, he just started the process.
This is a good property; however, could be better with better human experience!

The room needs to be more in order. It needs regular replenishment of water and tea condiments. Room service and housekeeping always took ages whenever asked for basics. No bathrobes were given and we were told it’s in washing. When I sternly asked for it I was given the same. I found the staff needs strong grooming sessions for hospitality and ethics. Even management level people always said No (ofcourse in most polite way) for everything at first. Didn’t find anything very inviting except the swimming pool. There also the wet areas weren’t very clean. There was no dry changing area and no dryer kept at basin or mirror window. Food was not great. After day one we didn’t bother for any free breakfast and one day we ordered dinner the service was really slow. There were two North Indian guys servicing in restaurant who were helpful rest weren’t bothered. Manager said no for late check out without looking into the bookings and then Hyatt customer care came to rescue and we were given the late check out. Our train was in late evening also they had delayed our check in by two hours so we needed this.

In a city that has become crowded, Hyatt place feels like a retreat with all you you need. Good location, clean large rooms, well maintained with good customer service. This is a really nice n fresh property. The Lobby is big , huge n clean. The restaurant has wonderful food and it always makes sense to have at least one meal included in the plan. We stayed for 3 nights with 2 small children. The food variety n taste n service was really nice.
Why I give this low rating is due to 3 service issues-
1. I had some body pain and hence I was carrying a hot water bag. I called room service to fill it with boiling hot water since the hot water in the bathroom is merely good for bathing.
Room service first declined, then after pushing, asked them how difficult would it be boil water in the kitchen. The staff then said that kitchen is busy so we ll give you after 2 hours once the restaurant closes...it was bizarre. Then I had to go down to the reception to complain about it and then nearly 45min post that, they finally arranged that. Had I ordered an item from the to service menu , am sure they wouldn't have taken 1 hour or so to arrange it. I even told them that pls charge me money but don't take so much time....this was pathetic service.
2. Swimming pool- the men s shower area had no hooks or hangers to keep the clothes. There was no soap or shampoo in the shower area. I observed the same on all 4 days...
3. There are only 2 floats that were available. One for adults n one for kids. I even asked the staff as to how does one manage with one float for kids when there are so many rooms and so many ppl travel with kids to this hotel..again, some vague answer.
This hotel really needs to improve its housekeeping and these very basic issues.
Otherwise, decent stay with the rooms n food.

Had traveled with family and stayed in Hyatt Place Rameshwaram for 3 nights. The place is really lifted by the personal service and attention to detail by Chef Veera and his team. Thank you to entire F&B team for taking care of us. He and his team went to great lengths in ensuring our dining options were customized to our tastes including Mickey pan cakes and a christmas plum cake as a parting gift. The Hotel is what you expect from Hyatt Places around the world with good ambiance, thoughtful little touches like options to purchase snacks at retail prices, use of glass bottles instead of single use plastic bottles. The facility really is a great option considering other hotels in Rameshwaram if you want a good and personable hotel. The hotel staff do go out of their way to accommodate your requests and that is note worthy considering the hotel was sold out for the dates we had booked. Great experience and would definitely stay again if we visit Rameshwaram.

We loved our stay at Hyatt Place Rameswaram. Excellent service, friendly and courteous staffers who went out of their way to assist, arranging transport for us to go sight-seeing and for temple visits, making sure everything was as it should be in the extremely clean room, including beverage sachets, toiletries, clean towels, etc and being thoughtful in packing food for our train journey. The food is vegetarian and, except for breakfast on one day, we found all the meals we had there very tasty. Enjoyed good salads, pizza, subz biryani and tawa panneer. Veg Chinese available too.

Right from the entrance to the exit to the interior decor's and each tiny detail of making this beautiful hotel is simply splendid and magnificent we loved our stay and the hospitality received was out of boundaries the place is absolutely clean and the staff are very prompt if you need any help the food is one of a kind and indeed when you would taste the food you will understand that love is the greatest ingredient the head chef and his team have used the food was so good that not a single muscle was wasted when we unlikely end up over eating in a buffet system. The ambience and aura of the place is very positive with modern yet traditional interiors very good choice of antiques and wall hangings beautiful curtains enough sunlight and a pleasant music playing at all time to boost your mood. There are good amenities like a gym, swimming pool, a small play room for kids and a rest and leisure time spot. The hotel has indeed attracted a lot of tourists and it is very close from the Rameswaram Temple and Dhanushkodi point the two places where tourists come all the way to specially visit. ThePamban bridge is also quite close from the hotel.
Mr Veera Naidu is the head chef was such a kind and courteous man whom we couldn't just resist from giving a positive feedback for the lovely breakfast we had the spices and the flavours used was so perfect that it could suit any palate and each dish was crafted and made with so much love and utter care that one could feel the nutrition already absorbed within. The FnB staff were so hospitable and ensured they even aducated us regarding any dish we ate. So in case you're visiting Rameswaram and you want to have a peaceful and memorable stay the hotel is worth visiting.
