We stayed here from 11th to 16th May in King's suite. The Suite itself was very good. Pros : Location is nearby to the temples. Good Breakfast spread. Excellent Room. Chef Sreekanth was very helpful in making food for our kid (whenever he was available). Travel Desk guy Ramalingam was very helpful. Cons (lots of it) We had to drag our luggage (both while arriving and leaving). Reception is sort of hidden from the entrance. Service is pathetic. If you order 5 items in the restaurant, they will surely forget 2 (they don't note it down). It took 1.5 hours for one person to get us a Pizza in the restaurant. Songs were played starting early morning disturbing our sleep. One idiot came at 11.15PM and banged the door for 15 minutes saying, I had ordered plates (we were fast asleep by 10PM) Hardly anyone enforces any swimming rules. No bathing prior to getting the pool. No proper clothing is enforced. You can just come and jump. I would say, you can give it a miss. This is not Hyatt.…
I stayed at JKR resort for 3 days,,all the staff were too friendly and made our stay happy I would like to mention some name like Bidya , Sumitra, Alok, shoo, Mamata, Soumya and Vinoth they all were really helpful… I may missed some name… it was really a good stay I wish I would come back again….😄
The resort was earlier a Hyatt Place flagged resort. But post Covid has perhaps gone on its own. Good Front Desk team, Good rooms but one star rating less for lack of food options at the resort as well as F&B service. Though Spa is there in the name, it is more name sake as the therapists were not available during our stay. Veg Breakfast is good but a la carte food is not. Even the staff is reluctant to serve a la carte. Bar was not functional. Major goof up was about the room, we had booked double bed room but were provided twin bedded one with no other room available on our days of stay.
This is erstwhile Hyatt property. So the rooms are good and overall the property is decent. However, service leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel is understaffed and the staff does not appear to be trained. Decent breakfast spread. However in room dining options is not that great. I did not find it value for money and would recommend to try other options too.
Checkin was very lengthy and unorganised. We had a triple sharing room for which we asked for extra bedding thrice but no one showed up. To carry breakfast not served after commitment by the hotel since we asked for 4 am check out. Asked for GST invoice and gave my details at the night itself but while checkout invoice was not ready. In all it was a terrible experience at the hotel.
