Amazing services, superb staff members and beautiful spot! Going back again with my family for sure. Also, have to mention the lovely bonfire & BBQ where my friends and I got to meet everyone living there and that was thrilling too! Great food, stay and company!

This resort is nothing short of a pear paradise. With sprawling orchards of pear trees and camouflaging green container cabins set in between, this resort located on a hill overlooking Kodaikanal is a perfect vacation spot for the adventure seekers. The cabins and tents come with attached bath. The breathtaking jewel box view of Kodai can be captured right from the cabin windows. The package comes with a trek to the top of the hill to look at the city view, which is a must-do for trekkers. The food is delicious and the staff are very cordial. Icing on the cake would be their campfire nights with BBQ. Would love to visit again soon.

This place is located on a hill opposite to city amidst acres of pear trees. The place is simply awesome. You feel liking living under the nature. The whole place is covered with grass and trees. Cabins are decently far apart so there is enough privacy. Staff is good, rooms are clean. Food in campfire was very tasty. They also have their own trekking. A few cons would be, this place is far 5-7 kms away from city. If you don't have your own commute, cabs will charge you good amount. We had to ask staff a couple of times for hot water, soap etc. Would be good if staff can provide the contact number and details of amenities to guests on arrival itself. Breakfast can be better.

Pear County is nestled in the hills, at a distance of about half an hour from Kodai city. One of the primary problems is the distance of the place from city center, which makes travel quite costly. Further, the accommodation is quite basic for the cleanliness (bed linen, etc. are often dirty; drinking water and hot water for bath in rooms often not available), food and facilities (most of the games in the common room are broken or unusable; no cable connection for TVs) it offers. The current ratings on TripAdvisor are way too high (especially when considering the rate that is charged). On the positive side, the outdoor camping may be a good experience for the adventure lovers. Campfire was basic again, but good. We stayed in the containers, which were self sufficient - but the place is not kid-friendly since the way to the rooms from the dining area is quite far and becomes difficult to access in case of rains which are plentiful in Kodai in this season.
