We visited Pear County with 2 other families & kids. It’s a beautiful Orchard with numerous pear trees. We had a lot of fun Pear Picking, guided by their patient staff and we also got to walk through the vegetable garden spotting carrots, beans etc. It was a great experience for the kids. They offered to arrange lunch as well. If you wish to unwind & relax amidst the Beautiful orchard, they have cute Cabins with a double bed & attached restroom. It’s the perfect place for a picnic with children.

I stayed at The Pear County for 2 Nights. My experience staying there was awesome and the staffs are very helpful. I think it's just not another Resort or Hotel, The Pear County is an Experience! I stayed 1 Night in at Tent & 1 Night at Cabin (Container home). It's completely understandable that Hot water is not always possible to get at Hilly place, but the staffs always helped us with Hot water supply. Food is homely. I think this is a unique experience someone can get at Kodaikanal.

This resort is nothing short of a pear paradise. With sprawling orchards of pear trees and camouflaging green container cabins set in between, this resort located on a hill overlooking Kodaikanal is a perfect vacation spot for the adventure seekers. The cabins and tents come with attached bath. The breathtaking jewel box view of Kodai can be captured right from the cabin windows. The package comes with a trek to the top of the hill to look at the city view, which is a must-do for trekkers. The food is delicious and the staff are very cordial. Icing on the cake would be their campfire nights with BBQ. Would love to visit again soon.

We visited The Pear County stay our Kodaikanal trip in March month. We experienced camping on the hills with a breathtaking view, enthralling off-roading entrace road, lipsmacking food, barbeque beside campfire and an amazing staff to make your stay an amazing all around experience! For an icing on the cake, if you hit the months right - the whole site gets covered in the mist. What else do you need? :)

Beautiful property in the lap of nature! The concept is very different with cabin stays and comfortable tents. Staff was very kind and helpful, the set up and amazing barbecue with great food and bonfire. The trek in the morning is totally worth it with a breath-taking view overlooking the river crossing the city of Madurai. The property overlooks the city of Kodaikanal and gives a spectacular sunset view. Has a game room, dedicated fire and barbecue place, and dinning place. Breakfast was fulfilling and I had a great time here! Family and solo traveller friendly - this is a must visit if you are in Kodaikanal!

Fantastic place if you are looking for cosy date with nature. The format is tents or container based rooms. The property staff are very resourceful. There is a BBQ night every night with a good serving of veggies and chicken. There is a also a morning trek around the property for the adventurous. Overall a nice pleasant stay.

Along with my family & family friends have been a regular visitor to Kodaikanal in the past decade and know the place inside out.
The Pear County is the only place in Kodaikanal that gives the Hill resort “feel” and at the same time takes away the unpredictable issues of camping out.
For urban amateur outdoor enthusiasts, we want the camping feel of being inside a tent in the middle of nowhere.At the same time being amateurs there are things such as bathroom facilities that are needed . Additionally hills are prone to cloud bursts and other things we cannot possible predict.Beyond all this we want to feel safe and secure for our family .
The Pear County offers all that – in the most scenic location and surroundings . Its a great place to be just with your wife …. OR .. A group of family friends .

If you are a group that likes to have fun then please get in touch with the Pear County because they have an amazing campsite right in between the forest. They provide tents apart from having an enclosure which has bathrooms attached. There is electricity supply at this campsite, so if you have your music systems or your electric music instruments (like we did) then you can just dance or rock the place till the sun rises. You are in luck if it is a clear sky coz you get to watch the celestial bodies clearer than you can in the plains. However if it's foggy, you still get the whole Hill station feeling going on. I will give 5 starts for the hospitality and for the amazing feeling you get of being one with nature. Thank you Pear County!!

The twinkling lights of Kodai town and the blanket of stars in the sky was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing holiday. Our stay and activities here were well-planned and equally well executed by the staff. With a bonfire, live music and delicious buffet and BBQ it made this vacation even more memorable.
It was an experience I would love to repeat. Although I’m not an outdoorsy person, I really enjoyed this weekend, being one with nature, sleeping under the stars and waking up to such peace and quiet in the midst of this large farmland. Can’t wait to go back!

It's like the perfect getaway from the noisy city life you can totally forget about everything and relax in this place . everyone can get like the actual camping experience and it's like in the middle of the forest but since not everyone might have been camping before they offer a tent and bathrooms and basic facilities. also there are like a bunch of activities that will surely end up with you having a great time. Pear county also has an impeccable view provided it's not foggy. Even when it's foggy you get the best of both worlds because people in the city definitely don't get to see either. It's definitely a go to place. And the hospitality is just amazing.
