We did really enjoy the stay at Jem Valley,Hospitality was Excellent and Hotel Location was also excellent Since the location was at the Highest Altitude and Mountain view from the Hotel room was picturesque Would recommend for Couples who are planning to enjoy their Honeymoon who are looking for calm and Silent place with no disturbance, Even Families , Friends Can also enjoy thier time. We have been to Jem Valley on 5,6,7th October-2022. Resort Manager Mr. Arjun has well received us with his staff. We were 2 adults and 2 children, they allotted us king room with extra bed. The room is neat and clean, hot and cold water 24 hours available, clean bathrooms, every room has balcony, from the balcony the valley view is mind blowing. valley covered with partial fog around, its the beauty of kodaikanal mountain valley can be seen. The resort is at highest altitude in kodaikanal, it will be joy ride while going up to third level to reach the room. The breakfast buffet was good enough, good and tasty. While the dinner was ala-carte, restaurant interior was awesome. The room service was very god, everything query/requirement they provided at the earliest. So 5* for room service. The resort is at a 4 km from kodaikanal city bus stop. Only dislike is the approach to the hotel is to travel on very narrow road like inside a small village. Except that all is good. The resort away from city where no noise pollution, good view entire kodaikanal city can be seen. Our trip was for 3 days, it is still in my memory not easy forget those days. the best stay and quality service. 5*****. Thanks Umesh K

Last minute booking ended up in disaster. Rooms are dirty, not yet fully renovated, unprofessional staff yet they were polite. Dirty sheets, dirty dirty carpets, dirtier bathrooms with shower curtains having fungus and buckets probably decades old. Guests were always fighting with the management, you could hear it always. Not a nice place to go with your families, with children and aged people. They need to close the hotel and finish the renovations, change their bathroom fixtures and hire professionals. Only plus point, the view. Otherwise, getting here is a pain as well as staying here.

We stayed at Jem Valley resort in Feb 2022. This is a lovely place to stay . We had booked the Jem Valley room(109 - 116), this category of rooms are on the top and have brilliant view from the balcony. The rooms from inside are very nice contributing to a wholesome experience. Very happy with the stay and service . The place is surrounded with natural beauty and calmness. There are not much food options but whatever is available is good. Staff is very hospitable , Esther , Shyam and everyone at the restaurant were very accommodating.

We stayed in Jem valley for 2 nights , all their rooms have balcony and the view is stunning .. the hotel is located in the highest altitude in Kodai .. the road towards the hotel is very steep and it will be challenging with elders ..we had RE Himalayan,it was thrilling ride to the hotel .. Staffs were extremely friendly at this place .. their food in restaurant is good and provided at a reasonable price. We missed our mobile phone while checking out and Esther from Jem valley was very kind enough to inform us about the mobile when we didn’t even realise that we missed it in the room .. she went over and beyond , couriered the mobile in a safe packaging and made sure it reached us within 2 days .. Our trip to Kodai and stay at Jem will be a very good memory for us ❤️

At first the hotel scores full mark for its location and views from the room. The hotel is even 200 Metres above Kodaikanal lake, so it’s more cool than Kodaikanal town. The hotel food was simply superb. I don’t find any issues with the food quantity and quality. Last but not least, the room service was excellent. The only down side is the road to reach the hotel. It’s pretty bad and extremely steep. Not advisable for beginners. (Drivers) if you are coming by car book only if you have some above average driving skills to climb the steep to reach the hotel.

Had booked the hotel after a lot of search in a lot of websites and to be honest, i wasn't disappointed. The location of the hotel was excellent. Views from hotel were definitely something I can write home about. The room was cozy and exactly as advertised. The service was prompt and the hosts were extremely polite and helpful. Food was decent too. Breakfast spread was on time and did not face any issues there. Hot Chicken soup did save us from cold. Yes, the route to the hotel is steep uphill, but I guess if you have driven from Dindigul to Kodainkanal, this is just another little challenge. The only issue I would say was the mobile network inside the room (ours was 206, not sure if it was the same in other rooms). We did have wifi though and it was decent.

We stayed in the highest altitude rooms in Jem valley hotel and highly impressed with the hospitality and the new year arrangements, food and the games. Jem valley is one of the best stay in Kodaikanal. Manager and the staffs had taken really a good care during our stay in the hotel.
