Lilly’s Valley is a uniquely beautiful resort set amid terraced gardens on three acres of wooded land, ringed by towering eucalyptus trees. Its 21 traditional stone cottages are constructed in the colonial British style, with handcrafted woodwork details throughout. It is the rare resort with an eco-focus and no concrete structures: even the furniture is lovingly made by hand by talented craftsmen! Built in 1982, Lilly’s Valley was the first resort in Kodaikanal. Our stone-and-wood cottages, both free-standing and attached, can accommodate couples, small and large family groups, students, and corporate groups. We are located in a quiet suburban neighborhood exactly 2 km from the center of town and the lake. With a short taxi ride or 15-minute walk, you’ll be in the heart of shopping, boating, horse-riding, roller-skating and other tourist attractions. Our style is low-key and customized to you: you can order simple, tasty Western and South Indian dishes from the kitchen, and hold gatherings in the garden gazebo with your own music and programs. We’ll even arrange a cozy night bonfire! We have special rates for long-term stays of one week or more, up to a 50% discount. Discounts are also available for weekdays. Many repeat customers, both Indian and foreign, have been coming here for decades, drawn back by the beauty, peacefulness, and cozy cottages. One Italian child born in one of our cottages returned 25 years later with her husband to stay in the same cottage!

We as a family stayed there for 4 nights (me, my wife and 2 kids and they are at the age of 4 & 1yrs old) during Christmas holidays 2019. Room 125 was very spacious and clean. They have taken lots of effort to make us feel like home. Milk and full boiled rice were given to feed my one-year-old kid. Staffs were very helpful and friendly.

The resort was very spacious and they saplings with beautiful flowers all over the pace. Staffs in the reception were very friendly and ready to help always. Vehicles arranged for sightseeing are clean and drivers were very professional and informative.

Food was awesome on all 4 days and beverages and snacks were also very tasty. Well maintained play area for kids and you can engage them there for quite a long time.

campfire was also arranged and that was a surprise. Overall, I had a very comfortable and peaceful stay there in Lilly's Valley Resort. I will suggest this place if you are looking for people who will take care of food and supplies for kids too.

I don't hesitate to suggest Lilly's valley to my friends and family who are going to Kodaikanal.

The places has so much amenities. There was artificial pool, scenary area, wood house, come fire and much more. The staff support was really awesome. The service they provided was astonishing. They were down to earth. Coming to the place the hotel was very clean and there was lot of places inside the resort to explore. The best part about our stay was the photoshoot and the camp fire 🔥🔥 setup. The Resort made arrangement for camp fire even at the time we asked. we were doing camp fire at 10:30 PM and the resort extended their support in setting up such late night too 😊😊😊✌️✌️We didn't make any effort to move outside the resort for photoshoot as there was lot of places inside the resort to explore. They provided complimentary breakfast along with the refreshments. They made our refreshments itself a complimentary one and they never charged a single paise for this refreshments. The Price was also nominal. We booked a couple room and we had also booked rooms for friends and photography team and also covered our photography. It cost us around 10.5k for more than a day . Together it was very cheap during the season time. We loved our stay so much.

Thanks lily resort for making our stay a memorable one 🥰🥰🥰😍😍 My satisfactory level was more than 💯 percent 😊😊😊

The resort staff's attitude and hospitality was top notch. We had stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and had a great experience and enjoyed very well. Appreciate how you ensured that you met all the needs especially as we had a kid to whom we wanted to feed the best/hygienic food and milk.

Complementary breakfast was tasty and good and we enjoyed it.

We thank the entire lilly's valley team for your great support and service.

Hopefully we will back soon with family and friends.

A beautiful lush green resort for a perfect relaxation with family. It was our first time visit to Kodaikanal & we experienced a good stay at the Lilly’s valley. The cottage we booked was perfect for our family along with our puppy. However,I shall brief the pros & cons.

PROS :

1. Pet friendly
2. A peaceful stay away from the hustle & bustle of the city
3. Well maintained lush green surroundings
4. Polite & courteous staffs
5. Homely food
6. We had birthday plans like surprise cake cutting & the staffs were very friendly that they helped us in arranging a cake on time.

CONS:

1. No much entertainment other than the kids play area and campfire. So felt a bit boring.Would have been better if it had any of pool, spa or a badminton court or something like that.
2. I felt like the cottages looked old & should have gone for renovation specifically the painting at least.
3. Cleanliness needs to be improved as the carpets & rugs were not vacuumed or cleaned.
4. Although the food was good & homely, it was with very limited choice. So if you’re someone like a foodie, it might disappoint.

It was a wonderful experience for the newly wed couples. In this lockdown times, this resort is very safe and tidy place to stay, fully covered with flower terrece gardens. They have an organic farm too.
Beautiful valley View, calm and relaxing place for honeymoon. Cottage has nice privacy, the resort incharge persons are flexible with our plan.

This is a package for 3 days and nights which includes breakfasts and dinners, each day tours, pickup and drop from the arrival place/departure.

Friendly reception people, good play area, camp fire too. English styled resort cottages take us to a new world. Thank you very much Lilly's valley.

Spent 3 days there. Main reason was they are pet friendly. They will try and do a lot to accommodate your family and pet. Mr Narayanan and Mr Daniel were really amazing and gave some very good advice and supported a lot. We had to change our plans suddenly just one day before the original planned dates but they made sure that everything was handled beautifully. Gave us an extension on our booking.

The approach road is a little bad but that's not the resort's fault. Inside the property some rooms are still being constructed but we were never disturbed by the noise. Food is prepared fresh and hence the spread is not big, but the taste is very good.

The resort has bonfires almost every night and it's very calming to sit by the fire in the cold mountain air.

Rooms are big and clean and very well maintained.

Overall a big thumbs up to the entire staff of the property and majorly to Mr. Narayanan and Mr Daniel. We would love to visit again for the personalized touch of service and always service with a smile.

Thank you for making our stay so nice and lovely.

Regards,
Merwin James

Myself my wife and our beloved pet WalNut stayed in a Queen Suite at Lilly’s Valley Resort at Kodaikanal for 4 nights. It was a pleasant stay. The Resort is in a beautiful location. Very clean rooms and sarrounded with beautiful landscape and tropical plants. Good food. Excellent staff.
Had a chance to chat with the owner of the property Mr. Raj a thorough and humble gentleman who takes a keen interest in maintaining the resort in pristine manner.
I would highly recommend this place in Kodaikanal especially if you are traveling with your pet.
Thanks to the whole Lilly’s Valley team for making our stay a memorable one.

This was our first vacation with our pet dog and we had selected Lilly Valley Resort as they were pet friendly. Stay experience was amazing, Rooms were clean and they were periodically cleaned daily.Staff were friendly and their hospitality was Excellent. We stayed for four nights and we booked all meals inclusive package. Food was excellent , you need to just choose the food you need 2 hours in advance and tell them your meal time and they get it prepared accordingly. Food was very good. My dog needs were taken care very well they gave boiled eggs and chicken boiled for every meal.We enjoyed our stay here and was a excellent choice we made.Highly recommend this place irrespective of you travel with pet or without pet.

It is not a resort that is overlooking the famous Kodai Lake, which most people prefers, but if you are looking at a place which is away from the bustling and super busy town centre, then this is the right place to be. You will need to navigate your way through the town to get there, but once you reach there, then you know why and how it is going to make your experience better. It is one of the oldest resorts in Kodaikanal, with stone cottages and plenty of space both inside and outside the property. They have multiple type of rooms depending on your needs. They have also duplex rooms which can accommodate up to 10 people in a cottage. They provide dormitory accommodation for backpackers who do not want to spend on the big rooms. The breakfast was super tasty with wide variety of south Indian delicacies. No alcoholic beverages supplied, so you will need to buy it from outside if you want to have it in your rooms. The check in and check out experience was smooth and all credit cards and online payment is acceptable. The hotel helps you in organizing your tours within Kodaikanal.
