Apart from the warm welcome, neat and clean rooms, in room dining was excellent. Hot, homely and tasty meals. Hotel needs to check the bathroom doors that close with a loud thump and provide floor mats for the bathroom. Definitely going back.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Kodai International as a family in their Executive rooms for three days in mid-September 2024. Our experience was excellent, and here’s a summary of what we enjoyed:

Pros: - Resort is located in the center and easily accessible to the Lake, shops, and restaurants. - Resort has a very large area with many and expansive facilities. - We booked a Deluxe Double room with a very good lawn view. It is definitely one of the best views. - Rooms are neat and clean. - The kids' play area is very huge. My kids enjoyed it the most. Zip line is also available with extra cost. - The staff are very attentive and supportive. - Huge Parking area
Slight cons - Very limited food options for breakfast, but whatever was available was still tasty. - We tried lunch one time, the quantity of food was very low for the price.

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the campus. The hotel staff were so attentive and helped us a lot. The provided food was so hygienic and tasty as well. The room was more spacious and clean too. Good hotel with lots of entertainment esp. for kids - waterfalls, rabit feeding, emu, swing, games, DJ, bonfire, lawn, park and a temple - all inside the property. They provide excellent service that includes housekeeping, restaurant and food, and cab for sight seeing. All staff at the reception, travel desk (Dev and driver Ashok) and restaurant were extremely courteous and helpful. Suggestion: The rooms need minor renovation; and from location standpoint not recommended for travellers who prefer quiet and secluded surroundings.

HKD is a lovely resort with a beautiful landscaped garden spread over 8 acres and located not too far from sightseeing spots. The rooms are spacious, tidy and provided with heaters. The wash rooms are clean and has all amenities including 24 hrs. hot water. Service is remarkable as staff in all areas are warm and responsive to all our needs.Buffet breakfast & dinner is vast and flavourful. Even their a-la-carte dishes are well prepared and delicious.One can never get bored as they have plenty of indoor games and outdoor activities, especially for kids. The Tea Kadai ( which mimics a local street stall ) and access to a private waterfall needs special mention, not to forget their caged birds and rabbits etc in their premises. It's a treat to spend time in the gardens. I would strongly recommend people to try this place as they seem to be reasonably priced for what they offer. Would love to visit again in the future,too.

I recently stayed at Hotel Kodai International, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view. We were warmly welcomed and accommodated immediately upon arrival. Special thanks to Ram and his Reception staff. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a live kitchen serving fresh, hot, and delicious omelettes and dosas. Lunch and dinner were equally impressive, with a variety of flavorful dishes. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, near the high school bus stop, and just a short walk from the main road. The hot water facility was reliable, adding to our comfort.
Dev from The Travel desk of Hotel deserves special appreciation for their friendliness and efficiency in helping us plan our 3-day trip. A heartfelt thanks to our driver, Padmanabhan, who truly made our experience exceptional. He is incredibly polite, patient, and above all, a safe driver. His extensive knowledge of Kodaikanal and the surrounding areas added so much value to our trip. He shared interesting insights and made excellent recommendations, ensuring we didn’t miss any highlights. We felt completely at ease and well-cared for throughout our journey.

I was stayed kodai international as well as Kodai resort hotel both are in the same price tag but in terms of food hospitality Kodai international is way way better. I recommend Kodai international. In Kodai resort even room heaters they are charging but in Kodai international it’s free. Complimentary breakfast fast is way way better than Kodai resort , international provide more item with hospitality.

Yes the property is very old, but they are maintaining every day, may be 1 or 2 rooms are not good, we are conducting our meetings in this hotel, we will book almost 70 rooms per meet for past 4 years, we not yet received any complaints about this hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Kodaikanal area.
