Mistycove is an exclusive homestay option situated on a prime lakefront property at Kodaikanal. It has got 5 cottages, scattered over 3 acres of lush gardens with beautiful views. Mistycove is equally suited for a romantic getaway or an action filled family vacation. All cottages have two large bedrooms both with attached bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe area, one living room with a fire place. All bathrooms have hot water facility. At Mistycove you need to order food 24 hours prior in case you wish to have food on the premises. All cottages are adequately furnished without being flashy. There is a Television with cable connection in every cottage at Mistycove. We take pride in our beautiful award winning gardens which have sprawling lawns overlooking the lake and rose gardens, flower beds, and mature fruit and shola trees. Mistycove has just 5 cottages and the caretaker quarters. Being spread over 3 acres, this makes it very exclusive. Mistycove is a 100% vegetarian homestay and even outside non-vegetarian food is not allowed on the premises. It is also an alcohol/tobacco free facility. Mistycove is so strategically located that you do not need to worry about local transport for most of your needs. We family visited this beutiful property in diwali and took the 3bhk cottage .. You enter this property and are mesmerised by the amazing garden tress and flowers .it's really well maintained . It's just in front of the lake .. Kodai is little conjested during vacation time. So this was saving grace in terms of the location and beauty . Boating shopping cycling all withing 1 min. So no transport required. Food is excellent,made by Ganesh..We took oll the meals there ..Though he sometimes struggles when people are more ..I still recommend eating there. Cottage inside is nice spacious clean and cozy We did have water problem 1st night .it got rectified .. I do have 1 recommendation to Vaibhav ji of solving the wifi problem as network is also weak in the cottages .. Overall I still strongly recommend this proporty for its sheer beauty location food and comfort it offers ..The nature lovers will really enjoy it..Ours was memorable stay. We could have stayed more . If you are coming to kodai just book mistycove .. …

Excellent stay, best ambience ,adjacent to the lake with good hospitality. Priced reasonably and most important a fantastic place to relax. A well maintained garden with nature at its best. Select your stay to relax and stay away from the busy world. A place you would love to be with your near and dear. Avoid the electronic and mingle with nature. It’s a must visit place in kodai !! Beautiful location ,excellent service ,super yummy food. One of my best stays so far in kodai Would highly recommend this place .Staff is extremely helpful and the view from the rooms is stunning . Must visit .

Awesome place to stay. Hospitality is brilliant and rooms are also very good and clean!! Food is excellent. The major plus is u can go to Brians park ( 1 point in Kodaikanal) and do the boating, cycling and Horse riding in front of misty cove. You can explore local market just outside of resort as well.

We stayed at Misty cove in the week of 17th April '23. Wewere 2 families with 4 adults and 3 kids. Our stay was brilliant and we had a wonderful time. The lcoation is beautiful with a lovely ambience filled with flowers, trees and green lawns. its right by the lakeside and we could sit out on our vernadah or the lawn and watch the lake but still feel cut off from all the bustle. its an advantage that there are only 5 cottages so it can never get touristy and crowded. Our cottage had a spacious living room and two large roomy bedrooms. The staff even built up a fire in the evening for us. The staffa re very helpful and friendly and made us homely , tasty vegetarian meals based on the menus we gave them! We also had the opportunity of meeting the lovely couple who own the property and really enjoyed our chats with them. We had a wonderful holiday there and Misty Cove has definitely become our go to place in Kodai. For thsoe who dont mind the 'no liquor, fully veg' rules this is the place to unwind in! Misty Cove has by far been one of the best stay experiences in Kodai for me.. I was traveling with a friend, to get away from the city hustle to relax and de-stress. This place was just perfect for that. It was the best experience staying here. Excellent property & Great location with most of the tourist spots being at walkable distance , so you need not worry about booking transportation everytime you want to go out and explore the place..very well maintained, overlooking the Kodai lake..with the most welcoming and sweetest Host, who has the best recommendations for must visit places around. The Staff was extremely friendly and cooperative . Home cooked food was scrumptious good and very healthy, that kept us going back for more!!!! Rooms were spacious,clean and comfortable. This is not just one of those resorts in Kodaikanal friends, this place is an Addiction. Be rest assured once you plan ur holiday and check into this Resort trust me thebnext holiday to Kodai would be only to Check into this cozy property. Overall: We were a group of 5 and our overall experience was simply outstanding. Can’t wait to get back to Mistycove! Location: Breathtaking view of the Kodai lake. Waking up to the lush green lawns of the property and majestic views of the Kodai lake was the highlight of my trip Food: We stayed for 3 nights and ate 8/9 meals in the property itself because the food is so so good! They had phenomenal variety (spanning piping hot Chola Bhatura, the best Idli/ podi dosa we have ever had, Mexican bowls, Asian food and even a full Tamil Sapad) Hospitality: The sheer warmth and hospitality of the owners and the staff made our experience an unforgettable one. A very good luxury homestay, ideal for families that loves a leisurely vacation. Mistycove is right next to Bryant Park and a few steps away from the lake. If I am right there are only 7 cottages in 3 acres. So there is not much crowd in this property at any point in time which gives you privacy. Only vegetarian Food is served at an extra cost upon order. Yes, its expensive and you may find very good , well known hotels/resorts at this price range with lot of amenities. But Mistycove is a different experience. We have been on lot of vacations but only a few have turned out to be memorable. This one turned out to be special and mistycove was one of the reasons. Mistycove would be our go to place in Kodaikanal.
