1. You can get much more for the same price 2. Bed sheets had dirt stains 3. It is situated at very shady location, doesn't seem safe for the ladies at night. We were afraid to walk around the hotel at night. 4. Balcony view was very bad. Balcony opened up to a very dirty stream of water, which might very well be filled with sewage. 5. The whole place felt like an Inn (Dharmshala). 6. Room was smaller then my college hostel room not expected in this price 7. No drinking water in the room 8. Bathroom shower was broken 9. Room was too cold 10. There were no chairs to sit in the room 11. Room was smelling of disinfectants the whole time 12. Bathroom door didn't lock 13. Room key broke when tried to get inside, was stuck outside for an hour 14. Bath room lights were not operational 15. Bathroom geyser takes half hour to heat a single bucket of water, and then you have to heat again for half an hour to get another bucket of water. 16. Hotel felt very crowded - hotel reception and alley were always overcrowded with people. 17. Hotel does not have wifi, which is mentioned in one of the amenities.…

The hotel is too good to stay with all the support to a nave visitor.... they arranged an awesome driver for me for a round trip over kodaikanal ..... will recommend to all ... thanks thanks from the heart to all of the staff's there .....

I stayed in the Hotel RJ Inn from April 26 to May 5, 2014. Inititally, on reading various reviews I was apprehensive, but the reviews are mostly unfounded and based on prejuduces. Excellent hotel, location, food, service, as can be expected in a hill station with reasonable tarriffs. Highly recommended.

worse experience with yatra. hotel experience : they give 1 towel to 1 room where 2 people are stayin.well i need to mention that i booked 2 rooms for 2 days. Parking is avaliable for 4 cars but they allot many rooms,I had to struggle for 2 hours to get the parking--finally 1 shopkeeper opposite to the hotel helped me.only 3 staff is maintaining the hotel. hot water is avaliable for 1 hr in the morning.please see the water colour as i have posted the pic in tripadvisor. No room service, no morning bed tea but they have a restraunt which opens after 9.30am..so we have to go out 4 morning tea everyday. no tissue paper in bathroom, u have to ask for the soap in the reception. No mat outside the bathroom..so just understand how the room floor gets wet. telephone hadset and tv is there but no connection. I have posted several other photo of room, i was so much irritated with yatra that i felt like leaving the hotel at the starting day but u know once money is gone , then yatra will not come and reschedule ur trip. I really dont understand how yatra made it 3 star rating, yatra team should know the meaning of 3star in a place like kodaikannal --i really feel petty on our country ---that for money how r film star like salman khan is promoting yatra.com…

Due to a mistake by Travel Guru we ended up staying in this hotel. Actually my in-laws stayed here, wife and I were in different hotel. RJ Inn does not have basic amenities like 24 hours water. They promised that hot water will be available between 7am to 10 am, but even then there was no hot water. Every time we had to ask them for hot water, which took them couple of hours to bring and this delayed our morning schedule very badly. They do not have duvets (aka double comforter). When we requested for one, he said electrician was not available that day. We thought he was trying to be funny, come on guys, in a hotel how can you have not heard of duvets. And when we asked for dinner, they said cook was not available. They did not have any facility, even something as basic as ironing clothes also they were not ready to get it done for us. Next day for breakfast they had only one item. So we went to the hotel next door to eat. The room we got was by the road and we were not able to close the windows also. Anyone who is on the road can easily open from outside. Absolutely no safety or privacy. In all, this is just a terrible place, avoid by all means. It is definitely not worth your money. There are plenty of options nearby.…

My hotel stay in R J Inn was for three days. I would put it this way, as much as I like Kodaikanal I hated this hotel. The hotel was a wrong choice in online booking & had no options left. Not that the prices of the hotel are less but the basic necessities like towel, hanger, drinking water, nice furniture and clean water are all missing from the services. The hotel also claims to have deluxe rooms, standard rooms and 2 other big rooms which they claim are always occupied. Ambiance: The hotel looks the same as it may be seen from lot of pictures available on net. The Inside rooms are full of dirty walls and poor fixtures. For example, the bathroom door was ripped apart(see photo) & the lock was broken (see Photo). Service: Poor service from the staff and bad hospitality from the hotel staff was a huge disappointment. They don't serve any drinking water, they only provide you with one bathing towel, you have to call thrice to remind them about your request. Cleanliness: The word cleanliness was absent from hotel dictionary. The dirty un-kept rooms & muddy water was again a huge disappointment. Food: The food is good but talk about hygiene, you will be surprised to see customers walking inside the kitchen without wearing proper cover for head and carrying their food inside.…
