Had a nice stay, but need some more hygiene things on room, restaurent was good, a person called Jeeva in that restaurent served good, travel agent Mr.Shenbagaraja was amazing (+91 90808 06831) you can get him and enjoy your trip

It's not far from the bus station. We were there off-season, so there was only one or two other occupied rooms, and the restaurant was not operating. It was clean, the shower was hot, and the view from the balcony was superb. The staff were commendable in there attitude, with plenty of smiles to share. Wifi did not reach the room - it was free but only available in the downstairs lobby. However, since the number of guests was low, they moved the wifi for us so we could use it in our room. That was a nice touch.

This place is near the bus stand It's walkable. It's also a little away from center so you are away from the noise of the crowd. Caokers walk, Bryant park and Kodai lake are at a walkable distance. We took the first floor room for the sunrise view. It's a tad expensive for the quality of the room. This is just to stay and roam around kind of place. Nothing special about food. If you are vegetarian have food at Astoria veg near bus stand. The trips planned from the hotel are also expensive. Make sure you bargain for taxi trips. The coffee early morning is good. Dont miss the coffee

This Hotel is good for sleep as the room is spacious and also have chairs & tables for Drinking or eating. Balcony is also for sitting outside. I never eat food from hotel restaurant so no idea about that. It was clean place and overall good.

Indeed the name speaks - SUNRISE. You can get an exquisite view of the sunrise, from the porch of this property. It's located just by the side of the Perumal Malai hills, and provides a breath taking view of the ghats. It's located in the close proximity of the center/mal of the hill station. Kodaikanal is a place for breath taking views of Berijam lake, Devil's rock, Pillar's rock and many more. Also do not forget to reach out to the chocolate factory, at the mal area. One of the finest molten chocolates, you will ever get. So in all sense, of location/proximity to the center this hotel is a good choice. Rooms are clean. Service is good.

The view from this hotel is just Beautiful. I believe this will be one the best hotels for this criteria. Location is nice (a little offbeat though). Rooms, reception were clean. Nice place overall but the only negative is price of the room that too during the off season.

Drawbacks: 1. Rooms not maintained properly. 2.door knobs if u turn, it will come out 3.restroom stinks badly, no refreshner 4.restrooms r worst as we even hesitated to use it. 5.water comes as dirt and smells, when we asked for clean water they said its underground water and will be of same colour nu. 6.fixed time hot water 7.toilet knob too comes into ur hand if u turn(poorly maintained) 8. Rooms will not be cleaned daily unless u insist 9. Food below average and very few items r available. 10. When we tried to charge our phone, we couldnt plug in, then room boy came with a pen cap to make it work.(it was like a tamil movie unnai ninaithu) Advantages: 1.sunrise view 2. Hotel cab driver and room boy r kind and helpful. Overall, its worth to pay 1k(we paid 4k), we didn't had option and unknowingly we went in. Its not worth it. We had a tour plan of three days but vacated it in 2days. Choose a better hotel to have a pleasant stay. …

The room was okayish, not very clean. No water bottle or tea maker in the room. Highly over priced. No great option for food also. Way to hotel is also not good. Overall a bad experience. View from the Hotel is good

Not good hotel for a middle class family... location of hotel is good,near to bus stand and we can see the sunrise and sunset as shown in picture but services provided are poor to the room rent of Rs.2000/- I just went to restaurant and looks very nice in dining but the kitchen found horrible!!!So i didnt took food from there and theyre not preparing based on our requirement,their breakfast menu only consists of poori too very costly Rs.50/-per poori. That too found not fresh...Friends not opt for this hotel... Room found neat and clean...Thats the only plus point I can say...

Hi ...I visited kodai with my gf ...we had very bad experience in this hotel ...we had traveled all-day 550 kms and was dam tired ...but as soon as we reached i felt the hotel was nice ...once we entered the room ...the hotel service was very pathetic...food is not tasty...in room there is no fan regulator controller to control the speed ...no hot water ... completely it was a disaster ...so frnds pls dnt visit this hotel ....better go for something else
