A very welcoming set of people await to see you in. It's a homely atmosphere. The rooms are well maintained and there are few very large ones. Tasty food readily and neatly cooked by a loving elderly couple and supported by 2 energetic and smiling staff. There is a personal touch to everything. If you are expecting a 5 star hotel professionalism, then you are in the wrong place. But it is a warm place where you will think of coming again. Location is good. Ample car parking facility also.

The place is excellent for those who prefer to be near the place of action yet in the tranquility of nature. About 100 mts away from Lake Kodai ensures you can go for a morning walk/run. Home style food is prepared on demand. Its an 175-year old villa property and hence gives you the rustic charm of good old days. Mr. Ratan, Alok and Sukhmani are extremely nice people and make you feel like home.

Very good resort. very nice location near the lake. Service and food are outstanding . The AGM and the service chief were so cordial that never we felt that we were out of home. My grand daughter is only two years old but all her requirements like hot water , milk were served by them with smile. We are very pleased about our choice of booking Bruton Resort.

I traveled to Kodai for first time and fell in love with the place and especially the beautiful English Cottage Bruton House we stayed in and took us into the Victorian Times.The best selling point of this Cottage is it's very friendly Staff and just a few minutes walk from Kodai Lake and the City Center.There are very good Muslim Restaurants and those who love Non-Veg variety of food is available and the Parantha are a must have.I want to visit again and this Cottage will be where I will stay.My sincere Thank to Mr Ratan Chakorborty for his warm smile and excellent Services.The only advise I gave was to publish this beautiful Cottage in leading Airline Magazines and keep good Landscaping of this beautiful Garden.I give 10/10 to this Resort .Good Luck

Stayed for 2 nights at this resort . Very kind and helpful staff Amazing food . Bonfire for larger groups.very close to lake famous for horse and cycle ride. The round o clock service was of great help. Keep up the good work

Stay Simple Bruton - Lakeview resort provided an absolutely pleasant and wonderful ambiance in the heart of Kodaikanal. As a party of some 15 people (adults & children), we all landed in this beautiful homely resort and spent a couple of days and left with some very happy & pleasant memories. Bruton resort is set up atop a small hillock and appears unsuspectingly at the end of a small by-lane from one of the roads near the famous Kodai Lake! With a small driveway, you stop near a welcome arch and out come the manager or the other staff to attend to you right away with welcome smiles and greetings. There was a mild drizzle and soon after settling down in our suites, we were treated to hot cups of tea and biscuits with the promise of a sumptuous lunch from the kitchen as soon as we were ready. The suites are lovely, long, spacious and some of them with french windows offering a beautiful view to the garden outside. The property is well maintained with trees, shrubs and several beautiful flower plants that immediately perk up your mood! The lake is but a couple of hundred steps down the hillock by the side of the main entrance to Bruton and is very convenient for descent & ascent lined up with local shops for trinkets and fast food! After our outings on both days to various nearby places on sight seeing, upon return in the evenings, we had the benefit of some quickly dished up snacks (pakoras, spring rolls etc.) with tea & coffee deftly prepared by the staff and served to our satisfaction. Some of us hummed away into the early evening on some beautiful old Hindi songs playing in the background while drinking in the evening scenery along with the countless sips of tea & coffee! The staff were very friendly and the food very good! They attended to the variety of demands from the old to the young alike with service that was prompt and with a smile! Overall, a very memorable stay in Bruton. We were looked after so well that leaving the place made us a little sad -- only for us to resolve to come back again! If you are planning for Kodakanal, Bruton resort can be a worthy consideration for a simple & pleasant but a memorable stay! Happy Holidays!…

Myself and Family stayed at this Property last week and the Experience was Extremely Pleasant. Our Kids loved the Place and Amp;le Space to Play Around.
