We really liked the ambience of the hotel...nice place to stay in kodaikanal with great hotel staff, good service. It has free Wifi, a water dispenser (so no electric kettle). Washrooms are in good condition. Well worth the price..

We stayed in Hotel apple valley through happy holidays.Xcellent customer service,strong hospitality,good restaurant with humble service. Nice gardening serving food for birds and i can sparrows after a long time. Car parking also available. Worth for money. All together good hotel to stay in kodaikanal town

Apple Valley resort was really a class hotel, the hotel room were spacious, hotel interior was good. Even the hotel staff was friendly. Hotel is at the centre of the city Kodaikanal. The lake is just walking distance from the hotel.

Disappointingly unprofessional. Shabbily dressed, untrained staff. No harm staff doing multitasking but you need to train them for the work they need to perform.
Restaurant is poorly kept, no good equipment, and service tools available. A small equipment like toaster was not there and bread served half toasted. The attendant does not know how to serve or help guests because the staff is untrained and unaware of the good practices for a Hotel & Restaurant.

We stayed in this hotel as a part of our South India holiday. Having come from Ooty where the experience was not so good, we did not have very high expectations from this hotel, but to both of our surprise, it was a wonderful experience.
The location is very close to the town, the rooms were all clean and tidy. The staff was courteous and helpful. They also helped us pick the right options and tour operator for local sightseeing, instead of pushing for their own recommended agents/tour operators.
The breakfast and dinner also was delicious, although the variety of options offered could improve a bit.

I am very sad to give one start coz its don't even deserve one. I have booked 2 night stay but i have been forced to back after one night only. There are mosques around the hotel and even if you close the door you can hear it loud and clear.

Very good hotel with excellent service. Travel desk helped for sightseeing for us. But food was average (in veg). Still would prefer to stay again during next visit because of friendly staff and amnieties.

This is the first time we regret our choice of hotel.. There's no valley view from any rooms. Hotel name is misleading the travellers, Rooms are clumsy and very poor house keeping and they are not available after 4pm very disappointing. Worst part of the hotel is dining area.. very bad condition in the way all tables been layout, you don't feel like to eat here, food is very typical and local. Avoid this hotel at any cost. Visited this hotel with group of 3 family in April 2019.

No.only water dispenser (cold & hot) is provided in the room
meanwhile you can rqst for a room service for beverages
Yes of course. They supply 24 hours hot & cold water at bathroom as well as hot & cold drinking water inside the room through water dispenser.

2)that room have a nice ventilation.
3)in our property situated in main city.so there is no chance of views.
4)our hotel to lake 15 minutes by walking distance.
5)hotel to main city just 5 minutes walking distance.
6)kodaikanal is very cold place.so there is no need of A/C ,FANS in kodaikanal.only you need heater and blankets like that.
