It is a good weekend getaway destination. Ideal for families and friends. One can even think of hosting conferences / incentive trips too here. It is worth it. Even family reunions can be hosted here. Remember to have your own transport preferably SUVs to enjoy the drive.

Stay was awesome. Friendly staff. Beautiful location and tasty food too. Wide range of sightseeing options. Highly recommended for families and friends. Very reasonable in terms of pricing and affordability for budgeted families.

Had not seen a single happy customer, almost everyone complaining and fighting at the reception all time. They dont care about customer service but only of minting money by other taxi services and dinner. The Room telephones are not working, older cupboards, old CRT TVs (bad to watch after used to latest LED/LCD TVs), no towels, dirty pillow covers, for any request at the desk they will just say will send room service, but no one had got any room service. Breakfast starts at 8:30am but bread or tea will be provided late, For breakfast they provide two items ony Idli is good, upma is bad. Road from the tar road to the hotel is narrower and if any yellow board taxi enters they never go back even if its of 1 meter but others had to go back for 100+ meters. Avoid it otherwise will regret later.

We stayed in this highland resort in Oct 2016. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very loyal and courteous. Rooms were neat, tidy, attractive. The restaurant is good. We had really good food there. The breakfast buffet spread was nice .This place is very strategically located to reach Lake, Coakers walk, Bryant park, Shopping areas - all within short walking distance. the resort outdoor facilities are very good , beautiful garden , kids play area specifically childrens enjoyed a lot. and overall it was a pleasant say.

The hotel is shown as a 3 star but it certainly does not even offer the basic comforts. I can easily say that this was the least comfortable hotel stay of my life. Few of the issues faced:
1. Room was damp and poorly maintained. I developed strong allergy while inside the room. Informed the management, but no step taken. Requested manager to shift us to other room, but the room was not changed in spite of many other rooms being vacant.
2. In spite of having an infant baby with us, we were given the farthest room. To reach this room, one needs to use stairs and cover the height equal to roughly 3 floors.
3. Furniture was old and broken and various places.
4. Hot water was not available during morning in the bathroom.
5. Thermos in which tea is served in room were stinking- probably not washed for many days
6. Room services very slow- even to get drinking water it took more than 30 mins
7. Bed was small (queen size), barely sufficient for a family. Headrest on the bed was very low- making it very difficult to sleep due to the cold wall behind.
8. Room interiors- Poor lighting (golden colored walls, golden color furniture, yellow lights..very depressing combination)
9. An old TV with very poor picture quality is provided in the room. TV channels were also very limited.
10. Telephone equipment in the room did not work properly.
The only positive point was polite employees and scenic view. Otherwise a painful experience.

The room offered was as per your booking and all the single rooms are situated below the rooms with the double bed rooms. we do hope you come back and we will make sure you enjoy your stay with us. we do have water heaters 24x7 on and if in use will take sometime for heating up again. We will make sure things are taken care in future and look forward to having you with us again. Till then have a wonderful Year.

Good part of the stay:
We booked three rooms and requested to put us nearby. Two rooms were given inter-connected (#206) with nice view. Parking was enough, small play ground for kids.
Most of the attractions are within 5km.

Average part of the stay:
Food is not great, breakfast is ok. Room service is slow.

Bad part of the stay:
Third room given to us (#117) was horrible. Stinks from all corners, away from other requested room, small bed with damp smell, a dead lizard in the room, toilet with no shower, single bucket to manage, stained curtains and dirty floor.

Annoying part of the stay:
They told us to manage for one night and they'll change next day.
Next day, we were told no options available.
On request to at least clean the room, they did nothing but fold the blankets.
That dead lizard was waiting for us to welcome back.

Dangerous part:
Road to approach this place is risky. Broken, pot holes, muddy, steep, no side support and total dark. If you are not confident in your driving or car don't take a chance.

Overall, I suggest to negotiate the room beforehand if you are ok to compromise with food and road.

Let the hotel staff challenge this review and I'll share all the photos for proof.
