I stayed at The Padmini Haveli in its early days, and on returning find that the charm is still as potent. The rooms are simple but exquisite, the food delicious and the coffee the best in Rajasthan. The hotel has added home made jams to their specialities - rose petal, sweet lime or pineapple. Delicious, I bought some to eat...

Our hosts at the Haveli were wonderful, very warm and welcoming and making us feel right at home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and there was lots of spaces to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. The hotel was very quiet and it was easy to go exploring the fort, which we did guided by our hosts. The...

Visited the Padmini Haveli for lunch after meeting Mr Sudhir at the Chittorgarh Fort for a tour. The property is beautifully restored and inside the village within the walls of the fort. Had lunch there which was well prepared and delicious. The best part of my visit was the hospitality of Mr Sudhir and his wife. It almost felt as...

We spent three peaceful days at Parvati & Sudir's home, with french and swiss friends (there were no other guests). We had the opportunity to take an indian cooking lesson as well as to picnic in Sudhir and Parvati's fields in the mountain near Chittor. The Padmini is an old house renovated with taste, and Parvati, Sudhir and their children...

It is my second visit to the Haveli. On the first trip. We had witnessed the harvest in the familly fields. This visit, on winter solstice we were greeted by the golden sunlight shining around Sudhir, Parvati, their family and village neighbors. We were joined by good friends from France and Switzerland and took Indian cooking lessons after a visit...

Very comfortable, well appointed rooms clean and quiet at night. The family are welcoming and informal. The food is strictly vegetarian, tasty, and plentiful. Because we left early, the breakfast was very simple but the coffee was delicious. It is a welcome respite from the bustling , busy area, replete with wild boars, dogs and roaming cows!

What good fortune to have selected this place at a last minute change of plans for our Rajasthan trip. A warmhearted welcome was received from both Parvati and Sudhir, the owners. A hot chai was offered at once and a same day late afternoon tour of Cittorgarh Fort was arranged with Sudhir who is tour guide.

Padmini Haveli is the best place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Fort and the Indian countryside. We liked it so much we stayed 3 nights. The place is spotless clean and it situates in the middle of the old village, very well preserved. Parvati and Sudhir are amazing hosts and they make you feel part of their family, they...
