It has always been a good hotel and It has only got better. If you are to have trip to Rajasthan this where you start your Journey in South moving up northwards. Honestly the only good hotel in Chittorgarh. Pratapgarh Palace is a excellent hotel to stay, very hygiene and clean rooms to stay, specious enough, very reasonable, exellent hospitality, limited but excellent menu as far as food is concerned. Very good room service. It is home away from home.
What a fantastic find this was, Lunch served outside with amazing food. The best chicken kebabs we have ever tasted and something to please everyone. Nothing was too much trrouble and the staff were first class
We stayed here one night on a tour of Rajasthan in order to visit the fort. The place is dirty, dank and dark. They are attempting some restoration, but it was half hearted at best. The reception is extremely poor and rarely manned, no information is forth coming. It took four hours to get the wifi code! Reluctantly ate here as we didn't know of anywhere else, and I was violently sick in the night .... Room was unpleasant. Toilet seat was stained with the excrement of previous occupants. Altogether a very unpleasant experience.
We had lunch on our way back from chittorgarh fort. They have a small buffet lunch and a la karate also. The quality of food is ok .Service is poor. A lot of work is going on inside the restaurant and poor approach to wash room.
I very much enjoyed my stay at this property. The buildings are spectacular. The grounds are just beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The staff was very attentive and the food was good. I also had an excellent massage here. It is a fabulous enclave. Recommended.
