It didn't look like a Haveli but rather a residential building. We got the most expensive room with palace view but the bathroom was grubby, balcony too small to do anything but stay standing. Might be a good value but only for the more economical rooms, but I am certain that there are better choices in Bundi for our budget. We found a thick dark hair in the room. We were greeted by one nice man multi-tasking that day - concierge, cook, water etc. He was very kind, but as he was doing it all alone, the lunch was slow and of mediocre taste with identical spices (although we ordered various types of curries). The owner's hospitality was somewhat forced and I was asked to change my review score on Booking.com which is not pleasant. Location was good but most lodging options in

This is a beautiful place. The historical building is nicely renovated. We were staying in a palace view room for 2600 with the door on a communal terrace with a spectacular view on the city: the palace, the city palace, the fort, the lake. The restaurant was another floor up, one of the highest points of the old town. The room is small but good. Clean, nicely decorated, hot shower and modern ac. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a wonderfully restored hotel. The art and decor is beautiful and the people running it incredibly kind and hospitable. There is a rooftop restaurant with a stunning view of the Garh Palace and the rest of the city. The cook is incredibly talented and made us a few wonderful meals. The room was a little small but very nice and comfortable. The beds were nice and the air conditioning very cool. The owner was also our tour guide and showed us around the city and Garh Palace. We had a terrific overall experience here and I highly recommend it. When we first pulled up to the hotel, we were slightly concerned because the neighborhood seemed a little less posh than some of the hotels we stayed in other cities in India. But any fears about the location were quickly

The hotel is nicely situated below the old fort with some shops in the street. The entrance to the hotel is a bit awkward as you have to go up some steps which are on the left hand side so it isn't immediately obvious. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are cosy and clean, the staff was friendly enough to help you. The rooftop dining area gives you a nice view, the food is nice and freshly made. The wifi was a bit of a hit and miss and had difficulty reaching the room. All in all it was a nice and comfortable stay.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a necklace of flowers as well as a complimentary beverage, we knew we were going to have a pleasurable stay. Request a room on the top floor, charmingly decorated, where you will have a magical view of the city palace. The rooftop dining also has a beautiful view and the cook prepares delicious food based on the local market's fresh daily offerings. We felt like we were back in the 70's in this off the beaten track city with a village feel.
